In Purrsuit of Flavors

 Phenny and Nelly have us making a meal on a cookie sheet for the month of September.  The only thing we make on a cookie sheet is cookies or pizza so mom decided that she was going to make cookies for ME!   I know -  I couldn't believe it either!

She decided on Peanut Butter Pumpkin treats.

Mix together 1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour, one egg, 1/2 cup of canned organic pumpkin, two Tablespoons of peanut butter and 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon.

Add water to make the dough workable.  Mom didn't want to add water so she added more pumpkin.   The dough should be dry and stiff and mom should have added more flour but she didn't.

I don't want to hurt your feelings, mom, but these cookies look like pig snouts!
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until they are hard like dog biscuits.
The hardest part is waiting for them to cool so you can try one~
It's delicious and gets my stamp of approval!    Mom tried one and liked it although she would have preferred to have sugar added to hers.
