Nature Friday

We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~

We only walked once this past week and mom noticed that I was walking gingerly and she suspected that the cold road was hurting my hyperkeratosis feets.   She upped my Boreal to two tablets to see if it would help me out.   I can have up to three but mom prefers to err on the side of caution.   We won't know if it's made a difference for a couple of weeks at least.    And having said this, yesterday was a mild day here and we did our normal walk and I did fine☺

The Rosemary is still looking alive and well but there is no way this tender perennial will winter over outside in Connecticut.
We found a petrified apple!
This apple tree seems to be a favorite of the woodpeckers.

It's okay that I'm missing my walks.   I get to play in the snow in my own yard!

Happy Friday, everybuddy!

Love ya lots♥

Molly

  6. We're sorry to hear your toes are hurting and hope the extra meds make you feel better. There sure are a lot of holes in that tree. There must be lots of bugs under that bark.

Oh Old Man winter and crotchety Mother Nature are ganging up on us this weekend. Starting tomorrow 30 degrees for a high and about 3 am Sunday morning we are being threatened with sleet and freezing rain OH MY the worst combo but at least it will be a short event maybe leaving ~1/3".....we shall see.
Of late the weather blabbers (on 3 local channels) have differing opinions
    Hugs and love you lots

  11. Have you ever worn boots? Samba had to wear them after surgery and Fudge wore them after his stroke. We know a good source if you need to try them.

  12. Hi Molly! Sorry about the walks, but you do have a lovely yard! Our winter weather is back to normal (a few degrees either side of freezing) so Cinnamon is happy! Mom's knee is much better and there is less ice so she and Mom are (almost) back to their regular walk. The Woodpeckers here like Mr F's Fruit trees too, they go after the Apple and the plum trees! We hope you have a marvellously happy weekend.
