Tasty Tuesday

 Mom made a boiled dinner this week.  She would have loved to have corned beef instead of Keilbasa but she didn't find any.   

I got to enjoy some peeled carrot ribbons!


Cabbage, carrots, potatoes and Keilbasa and peppercorns~
Cooked carrots are just as yummy as raw ones.
Let's make this dinner again soon, mom!

    I SO know the yumminess of carrots - as soon as I've finished my dinner, I start my drooling at the frig for MINE!

    We've enjoyed the white chocolate Tillamook as well - after your suggestion!

    Your mom's boiled dinner looks tasty too!

    Molly OMDs I started looking for a brisket at my regular grocery store (Harris Teeter) in mid February.
    Yesterday I decided to try Food Lion and lo and behold I found one. Whew. That will be our Friday supper along with the veggies and some So. Cornbread

    Lulu: "I have not gotten into carrots yet but I do love the crunchy ribs at the bottom of a piece of lettuce! Not the leaves though. Dada tried giving me a lettuce leaf once and I just left it on the floor. That'll show him."

    Mom always gave her puppies cold carrots when they were teething but silly Boston doesn't eat them. He throws them around the room, then jumps on them and growls at them.

    We all get carrots in our dinner every night. Mom only likes hers cooked. Enjoy!

    That looks like a yummy dinner for this time of year. It is hard to know what to cook for dinner depending on the weather. It is still cold here so we are still have stews/casseroles etc!!! Hugs & Love Susie & Coco xx
