Sunday's Walk on a Monday

 We have heavy rain and blustery winds today but not yesterday!   Mom and I went for a long walk in a new direction and had tons of fun!   

The first sight we came upon was two deer in the fog.   We almost didn't see them!

Turning the corner,  we saw such beautiful autumn colors!

We even saw ghosts at 7 am!

Farmer Will has been busy!

I took a break in front of Miss Kathy's house~

And then mom saw a gorgeous burning bush and knew we had to have a picture of that.  

Such beautiful mums!

Mom wanted me to pose with this awesome Halloween display but I didn't like the creepy stuffs going on behind me!

We discovered a bird's nest had blown out of the tree where my friend, Carlie lives~

Who would have ever guess that we would find an Iris in bloom in October!

Back at home, the  feral kitty that Landlady Maryann is feeding was in our  yard.   We guess he's waiting for her to put down food for him.

What a SuperFun Sunday walk we had!

Nature Friday

 We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~~

Some of these photos were taken before the strong winds and too much rain showed up~

The crazies are sure beginning to show up in our neighborhood!

We all know that poison ivy is a no-no but it has such beautiful Autumn leaves!

We found these beautiful Asters along our walk~

We even found a Hydrangea still in bloom with a barely visible pink Petunia!

These Mums took forever to open and mom thought they were going to be a burgundy color - nope!

Thankful Thursday

 Mom and I are both very thankful for wonderful weather for our morning walk - no more rain and no blustery wind was around until the afternoon.

She was encouraging me to jump in the leaf pile but I will wait to do that at home when the time is right☺

Terrific Tuesday

 Yesterday, mom was going through scarves and hats and gloves and coats in the closet and she discovered that one of Molly's harnesses got missed when she was donating.  

Mom opened the box and was surprised to discover that the harness still had Molly's scent on it.   Molly hadn't worn this harness since she was very young!   I didn't know what a wonderful treat this was until we started walking!

I was having a great time dragging my ears on the ground and was sniffing everything!  Canada Geese alert!

I was snatching at grasses and wasn't listening to mom at all!

I was having the best time!

Look who we saw.   It doesn't look like this poor thing has eaten in forever.

I know mom probably isn't going to let me wear Molly's harness again but I sure had a fun walk this morning!

We are walking farther as the temps get cooler and we found these Kousa Dogwood berries~

We found a mixed-up Mountain Bluet that bloomed in July and it's so nice to see her blooming again☺

We found pretty pink Mums~

These Impatiens are still flowering away~
