Landlady Maryann's pond is looking so pretty~

That is one large hairy vine - most probably poison ivy!

We are still finding lots of red leaves on the Burning Bushes~

The Lily of the Valley leaves look so pretty and golden in the Autumn~

Look what I found!   Mom wouldn't let me bring it home.

Mom has raked these leaves up already but days ago, we had a beautiful red carpet!

Tasty Tuesday

 This time of year, mom makes lots of soups.   This soup has ingredients in it that she loves so she didn't follow a recipe for this one.   It's sausage and spinach and carrots and celery and lentils and black olives in a chicken stock base.   She rarely makes a soup that doesn't contain black olives because she really loves them.

I got a carrot stick~

I love celery!

Mom loves a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese when it's time for dinner~

Today is the perfect day for soup - actually, we think that every day is the perfect day for soup~

And for dessert - yes, I love bananas too!

Today, we honor our Veterans and thank them for their service to our country and for keeping us safe.

Sunday Walk on a Rainy Monday

 Mom switched up our walk again.  She seems to like to do that on Sunday as there is less traffic to deal with.

The pumpkins are still here along with rotten tomatoes. Mom sadly, wouldn't let me eat them.  

Their mailbox had a beautiful glass flamingo on top that wasn't there before!

The Autumn colors at the farm are muted but still so beautiful~

There are still lots of red leaves to be seen~

I hear a rooster crowing!   

The Iris is not very pretty anymore but it's still blooming in November!

The Burning Bushes are still in bloom!

We discovered Ferns in their Autumn color~

The Winterberry, all decked out for Fall~

Moonpie's Mums are still blooming away~

We are loving all of the red colors~

The copper leaves on Miss Laura's tree are so beautiful!    I climbed up on the rocks to make myself taller☺

Winter is Coming

 Mom and I were having fun with a hat that doesn't belong to me, thank goodness.     I think the hat is on backwards, mom.

Better - but it's sliding into my eyes.

Personally, I think it looks much better on Francesca, who mom keeps calling Molly for some strange reason.

Nature Friday

 We are joining Sunny this week for Nature Friday~~

We had a great walk this week!   Mom has been using less of the head collar and more of the harness.  YAY!

We did find Spiderwort flowers on our walk.  Sorry the picture is so blurry.  I don't allow mom to stop for long.  We gotta get going!

We were lucky enough to find a Daylily still in bloom!

Do you think there is a creepy house at the end of this driveway?  Better avoid going down it, right!

So many of the Burning Bushes are in their striking Autumn colors!

Mom and I had fun with a huge Redbud Tree leaf!
