Nature Friday

 We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~~

Mom's orchid is blooming!

Both Amaryllis's have lost their blossoms but look at the new greenery!  Do they ever bloom twice in one winter?

I did get outside to play yesterday and it was a beautiful day!

Don't ask me why but mom brought piggy outside instead of a ball.  She said he has a long tail and hopefully it will keep her fingers dry for a longer period of time and she was right!

I did get to romp in the snow which is still pretty deep in places that haven't been walked on yet~

Thinking Thursday

 As expected, we did get snow on Wednesday morning - not a lot but enough~

Mom and I went out the back door to see if it looked any deeper than before.

She spent yesterday morning shoveling until her back was aching. She promised me that we would play in the snow today.

I'm counting on it, mom~

Fourteen Inches

 The snow is up to my belly!  We have fresh snow on what was already here. 

We have breezes and the temps don't reflect what it really feels like and you can see that the bench behind me is loaded with snow.  

We were only outside for fifteen minutes~

I had a blast and of course, mom said "enough"!

When we got back inside, her fingers were so cold that she had trouble removing her gloves that were wet from throwing my ball and she could only imagine how cold my legs and feets were.    The snow is wet and yup - a snowball all over my furs kinda snow.   

The weatherPeeps tell us to expect one to three more inches this morning.   Playing outside is going to become impossible!

Blizzard Monday

I needed to do business, so mom took me out.   In this kind of weather, we access the rear garage man door.   

I did pee but mom  didn't get that shot - not that you wanted to see it anyway.   She allowed me to poo inside the garage.  Bless you, mom!

Farmer Will arrived at 3am to plow.  Because the winds are still so strong, the plows are plowing but with the superStrong winds - the roads are getting covered back up immediately.  

Will let mom know that he will be back♥

And because today is National Dog Biscuit day~~

We haven't lost our power and we continue to pray.

Nature Friday

 We are joining Rosy today for Nature Friday~~

Finally - a day to get out and walk!

Mom took a picture of a Yucca plant in the snow~

And then we came upon the Sycamore tree with wet stunning bark!

Guess what I found?   

Do I need to be afraid of this balloon?

Getting closer and more confident~

Can we please take it home with us, mom?!

We still have lots of snow here and the weather peeps are calling for a big snowstorm on Sunday going into Monday.  We shall see if they are right.  

This week, I have a rose for Rosy!

Who Needs Paths

 The roofers put paths through my snow!  Who needs paths to walk and run in?

The deeper the snow - the better it is!

The roof does look very nice but being darker that what we had before - mom is worried that summer will be hotter inside the house!

I sure hope not!

Valentine's Day

 I got Valentine gifts!

The new squeaky ball is mine, LavenderLambie, so no helping yourself to it, okay!

An edible gift came in the mail yesterday for me but because of all of the commotion with the noisy roofers and stuffs all over the ground, mom said we would wait a day to enjoy it.

Friday the Thirteenth

 Mom and I went for a very short walk on Tuesday.   We have snow that the plows can't move far enough off the road and it makes it dangerous to walk.  We only got one picture before mom decided to return home~

The pond is totally frozen and we didn't see any ducks and wondered............  

Landlady Maryanne called and told mom that the ducks are all gone.  With the pond being frozen and no open water is available, the ducks aren't safe and any predator - well, you know.    We feel so awful for those sweet ducks.   

We did watch the Puppy Bowl last weekend~

Mr Bill was the referee at my house!

Landlady Maryanne also let us know that roofers are coming here.  We think they are doing the entire roof and there is snow on our roof! 

The dumpster and shingles have been delivered. 

We are praying that everyone stays safe on this Friday the 13th!
