The roofers put paths through my snow! Who needs paths to walk and run in?
The deeper the snow - the better it is!The roof does look very nice but being darker that what we had before - mom is worried that summer will be hotter inside the house!I sure hope not!Back to having fun!Happy Monday!
Love ya lots♥
Duke
It is a very good idea Duke to have a good roof on the house. And don't I just love your Snowman scarf around your neck. I'm sure you make plenty of your own paths.
ReplyDeleteyou fortunately had your mom on a walkingstring, so she can not get lost.
ReplyDeleteWe still wonder why they put on a new roof in the winter? Here unless there is a catastrophe, you never see a roofer in the cold and snow. At least it is done, that is the good news.

ReplyDeleteWow, they were quick with that work! When we had ours done it took months... Good for you taking thing 'off piste' a bit, Duke! Hugs and wags YAM-aunty xxx
I think you'll be okay with the roof coloring - when we had ours done - and selecting new shingle colors - she asked about that aspect - our roofer said not an issue -
ReplyDeleteHope that works out for you -
We did get a wee dusting overnight - the patio had some fresh white -
and 52 tomorrow -

That was quick work indeed. No worries for you, Duke, just fun!

ReplyDeleteWe're with you Duke, why use a path when you can romp through the deep snow!

It is a pretty roof...maybe with your home being 1 story it won't be any hotter.
ReplyDeleteYou look all kinds of cute running Duke
Hugs cecilia
You sure were having some fun Dandy Duke! Hey, give the roof a woof for us!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear your new roof is done. You sure look like you're having fun in the snow, Duke.
ReplyDeleteYou don't need paths. You have far more fun off the paths. You're so handsome, Duke.
ReplyDeleteI linked this post to Awww Mondays.
Have a woof woof day and week, Duke. My best to your mom. ♥
I used to make trails in the yard for my guys. Now I just clear the deck and the yard just in back of the house and they make their own trails. It seems like it's finally warming up. March can be cruel though, just when you think it's Spring, we'll get a final snow storm.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the insulation in the attic will help keep it cool. Duke, we envy all that snow you have. Ours is totally gone and we have what they are calling "Fake Spring".

Who needs a snowplow when you are around blazing the trail?
ReplyDeleteWe still have plenty of
ReplyDeleteunpathed' snow in our yard...but Benji is making his own set of trails, to the fence line to the backwoods and for doing 'business'.
So you got a new roof, that's great! Hopefully you have plenty enough insulation in your attic to help with keeping out summer heat and keeping winter warmth in. Our ancient house, (1907) is not, and though several attempts have been made to fix it, somehow none worked very well...
Duke! We gotted some snow yesterday and Nutmeg is stoked! Alex gave up throwing the chuck-it ball and threw snowballs! Mom was choked as Nutmeg throws her back legs over her head when she jumps up to catch them and Mom missed the poto shot EVERY TIME! Weh are hoping to get before the snow is gone as Mom does not think she will be doing that next winter (but you never know). Do you do acrobatics? Keep being AWESOME! Your #1 Fan Boy, Marvelous Marv
