Even though we live very close to the Glenwood, mom doesn't go much at all. You can pretty much count the times she has been there since we've lived here so yesterday, she decided that she should go one more time before we move.
Thanks, mom! That was sure fun☺

Flower Friday
We are joining Rosy for Flower Friday. It will be our last Flower Friday taking walks from our apartment in this neighborhood.
We don't know the names of lots of trees that bloom but we sure know pretty flowers when we see them~
Neil was the man who rented our apartment before us. This beautiful tree is in front of Neil's house.
And these are the flowers up close~
Mom loves Redbud trees. She thinks they are one of the most beautiful trees in bloom ever!
We are really going to miss this man's yard. He is the one that we swear works at a nursery............
Because he has new surprises in his yard every time that we pass by.
His tulips are so pretty~
And he has so many different colors~
This is his lawn. The pictures aren't that great because mom held the camera high above her head hoping it would capture the shot.
His lawn is full of beautiful violets!
For the past week, we have been passing by this Viburnum. We can smell the wonderful fragrance from a block away!
No, mom - I do not want to smell it!
We found a pink dogwood in bloom too.
We sure do love spring!
Happy Friday, everybuddy!

Flower Friday
We are joining Rosy for Flower Friday. We only have 2 more Fridays before our move back to the peaceful country life~
It's been beautiful here this week and in the 70's and 80's. The flowers are beginning to burst!
Pansies are just the happiest little flowers ☺
This tree is so full of white flowers that it almost looks like it got snowed on!
The tulips are coming into bloom~
Some pup had a birthday pawty! How come I wasn't invited?!
I love the color of this creeping Phlox~
I have daffies growing out of the top of my head!
Happy Friday, everybuddy!

Our New Home
She misses the peace and quiet of the country life and she misses the farm fields and the smaller town setting.
We have almost an acre of property here and it's so beautiful with flowering trees and flowering bulbs.
The only downside - I won't have a fenced in yard anymore but leashed walking is going to be fantastic!
This Magnolia tree is in our back yard☺
I think I'm going to like it here!

P.S. Mom was on her way to our new place yesterday and right up the street from where we will be living, a lady was walking her llama on a leash. And did she have her camera with her? Of course not!

Mackie Was Here
Mackie was here for the afternoon on Sunday. Mom gave him an AireCut and it tired him out so much that he needed a nap afterwards.
Yup, his energy is restored. A two-year old AireBoy doesn't need a long nap.
Don't even think about touching my tennis ball, Mackie!
Happy first day of May!

Planting our Garden
Mom has been reading up on what NOT to plant in our garden if we want the plants to go uneaten by those nasty woodchucks!
Everybody knows that my mom LOVES poppies and they just happen to be one of the plants on the list so she got 2 packages of annual poppy seeds and one package of Cleome seeds.
The annual poppies can be planted in early spring so this morning, that's just what we did. We planted them in the garden.
And mom was at Home Depot checking out what they had for plants and she found Garden Pinks, and Sage and Lavender. The woodchucks aren't supposed to like these plants either.
She couldn't resist the Rosemary, which isn't on the list but it's another pretty strong aromatic herb. They can't possibly like Rosemary, right? Rosemary is considered a tender perennial in our area of the country and she can't go outside until after the danger of frost is past so she will have to hang out with the houseplants until the end of May.
We are crossing paws and fingers and hoping that the woodchucks will leave our plants alone so we can watch them grow and flower.
The sun feels so nice today~
I think I will be spending most of the day outside. It's absolutely gorgeous here today!
