We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~~
Mom altered Molly's hydrangea bandana and now it fits me!Earlier this year when mom was paying the rent, Landlady Maryann's Lunaria had seed pods that looked like these so she took a few and planted them this spring. They haven't grown much this summer so maybe they won't make it through the winter. We will find out next spring. As we were heading home, we spotted this Cardinal flower in the woods. Mom said that it was too far for us to walk off the road and risk getting ticks. The red flowers are so striking. Sorry the photo isn't better but you get the idea. We found pretty Zinnias~Happy Friday!Love ya lots♥Friday, August 21, 2026

Nature Friday
We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~~
Walking hasn't been constant this week with the rain and humidity plus mom HATES the bugs and no matter what we do to try and prevent them - they somehow always find us.Wednesday, August 12, 2026
Almost Wordless Wednesday
Mom and I watched the movie that just came out on Netflix. It's called Arthur the King and it has a dog in it and believe it or not - I like movies with animals in them. I don't watch the entire movie like she does but I check in now and again while I'm playing with my toys! Arthur the King was a GREAT movie!
Happy Wednesday!

Are these Lilies not the most gorgeous flowers that you have ever seen?!The same yard had beautiful cone flowers blooming too!Chipper alert! We found Balloon Flowers that escaped from their garden and were blooming along the street~Look what I found! When we walked by the next day, the non-squeaky no fun hard plastic ball was still there!Happy Friday!Love ya lots♥Wednesday, August 5, 2026
Wordy Wednesday
National Airedale Rescue recently had an auction on FB to raise $$ for Airedales in need. Mom will donate but she can't buy anymore Airedale items for obvious reasons. Look what she found for me! It was the only thing that she could purchase and the harness is my size! It's not really a summer color so she says that she will put it away until Autumn or Winter.

Our Exciting Weekend on Monday
We no sooner left our driveway when we spotted a mom and her fawn playing in Farmer Will's rows of tomato plants! The fawn was a distance from us at this point.
The fawn soon realized that she was alone and that her mom was no longer in front of her but her mom hadn't left her. You can see how high the tomato plants are and she can't see over the tops of them. The fawn was moving towards us and thank goodness that this was a weekend and the traffic is lighter and almost non-existent! Mom was yelling for her mom to please help out! We didn't know if the fawn would stop coming at us or not and then her mom came rushing by and thankfully, the fawn followed her and they went off into the woods.Do you think the fawn will appear again, mom?Sadly, I was onleash, as always, and couldn't join in the fun!Across the street was a beautiful white Rose of Sharon flower~She asked me to sit for a pretty picture with the Phlox and she didn't realize at the time that my hiney was seated on a large rock☺What a fun walk we had despite the fact that it was very hot and muggy out and the irritating bugs were out of control~And guess what else exciting happened? I got a bath! Don't worry - I love my bath!Happy Monday!
