Muskie the Thief and a Package from Koobie

Look at what was in our duck's food dish this morning!

Thank goodness the ducks had the good sense to eat first before this evil muskrat railroaded them out! Mom sorta interrupted him and he turned to leave before he finished his meal!

Good riddance to ya - and DON'T COME BACK!!!!

I guess Mr. Otter hasn't had his muskie meal yet! By the way - several of the timber frame students saw the river otter the day they were here for the tour! Some of them saw him crossing the road we live on at lightning speed and others saw him running across the grass and heading for the pond like when mom saw him so he's still around and if mom wouldn't have been so involved in working on her quilting block she might have gotten a picture of him! DARN!

I got a package from Koobie in the mail today. This gift is for winning 2nd place in the "real" Easter bonnet catagory! Thank you so much, Koobie! You were very sweet to do this!

Mom laughed out loud when she saw the binkie! She said that she needed to run upstairs and get the baby bonnet to get a proper picture! Get over it, mom!

Mitch wasn't too sure what to make of it either!

Koobie sent awesome gifts! I got a leopard squeaky bone and a beautiful orange tennis ball that Mitch immediately helped himself too! Also yummy treats and Koobie even sent mom a beautiful book mark that says, " A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself" - Josh Billings. Mom says thank you so much, Koobie!

Thank you so very much, Koobie! That was a very thoughtful thing that you and your mom did! And thanks for giving my ball back, Mitch!

So until next time................

Love ya lots,

Maggie

Thanks for helping me bark at that rude dog..it has been raining so we haven't gone & found where he lives yet.

Maggie...me just love your color...it is so colorful...maybe ther Mommy can get me one like that.

  18. If I am not mist aching, the black and tans were frequently used to remove the water rodents. Maybe you guys need to help out with keeping the little bugger out of the duck food.

  21. Hi M & M,

My soup bone was sooooo yummy but the Mommy wouldn't let me have my oxtail last night. She said when she eats her soup me can have it.

I only get to eat my bones on that one chair that is MINE and only mine but it always has that pink sheet on it...me know better than to try and eat my bones on the other furinture. Me always try to take my bones outside but we got ants (the mean red kind) and the Mommy is afraid they will attack me and me wouldn't want them to carry my bones off.

No rain today so maybe me & the Mommy can go look for that pee pee dog on a walkie.

    Love ya...Mona

  22. That's exciting that you have so many different wild animals where you live. That's more critters to chase and growl at. Just be careful not to get too close.

Koobie was so generous to give you all those great presents! We need to see a picture of you with your bonnet and the pacifier.

  23. Hey, Maggsie Girl!

Oh NO I DIDN'T see Mango Man challenge you and Mitch to "do your job" and get that water rodent out of the pond?!!! I don't know about you, but I think it's your water rodent, and YOU can decide if and how he is to be gotten rid of in your own good time.

BUt, on a lighter note, you look stinkin' cute with that binkie, and with your head in the envelope. We love your facial expressions, Maggie. You're like good cheese... better with age.

    Goober love & smooches,
    STanley

  24. Wow! The servant hasn't seen a muskrat since she was a kid in western Massachusetts, and then only in the water. We think they would be fun to chase and bite and roll in.
    Have fun with that!

Glad that you like the prizes, Maggie. You did an excellent job on the contest and really looked nice in your Easter bonnet. I wasn't a judge, but you were one of my favorites. Obviously, those who were judges liked you, too.

    Have fun with the toys.
