Our Spring Walk Up Sleeping Giant

Yesterday dad suggested that we climb Sleeping Giant today and this morning mom put our Dogwear Collection harnesses on, filled our cooler with water, grabbed a couple of cookies for a snack and off we went!

It seems like it's been ages since the last time we came! I've got to check out all the new smells!

Is anybody home?!

Mom couldn't resist taking pictures of the cute Dutchman's Breeches~

And some pretty purple violets~

Nature calls! It calls us a lot while we're on our hike here! It must be all of these fantastic smells!

This is a grove of Mountain Laurels! The Mountain Laurel is Connecticut's state flower! It will be in bloom soon but right now it's still a wee bit too early yet! Mom loves all the corkscrew trunks!
Mitch and dad stayed ahead of us the whole time! Dad says that Mitch practically pulls him up the mountain! Lucky dad - mom ends up practically dragging me up the mountain because I need to sniff absolutely EVERYTHING!
There's the castle! Yeaaaaaaaaa - we made it to the top!

What a perfect walk we had! Can you see that beautiful blue sky?! And what makes the day even more perfect is that Mitch and I hear that we're having ooonies for dindin!

So until next time.................

Love ya lots,

Maggie and Mitch

That is so cool you get to go on walks and stuff with your humans. My mum might take me to a lake or something this summer. Daddy is getting ready for the rodeos next weekend, so he has been too busy riding horses. I hope summer comes soon!

Thank you for the barkday wishes! I didn't get a pressie this year because mommy says all I do is destroy them. She obviously doesn't understand that's the fun part of getting pressies. But I did get lots of treats!

You look like you had a really fun day!

Hi, Maggie and Mitch -

What a great place to take walkies. Mama and Papa take me (Hershey) to Central Bark (a local park in our town) and Fort Griswold State Park - we can walk to get there from our house!

Mama says that yes she has heard of Wallingford, Durham and North Haven. Mama and Papa bought a new car in Wallingford.

Love -

Hi, Maggie and Mitch -

It's nice to meet you. I (Kaci) live in New Hampshire with my Mama. We are finally getting rid of all the snow we had this winter. Have a good weekend.

Love -

P.S. Is it all right if we link to your blog?
