Who's the REAL Easter Bunny

Hi everybody! It's me - Mitchy boy!

Maggie and I met the Easter bunny today only.................. I thought I was the Easter bunny? Mom keeps telling me that I am!

What do you think, Maggie? Who is the real Easter bunny - her or me?

Maggie said that to be honest with you, Mitch, you're much cuter than her and you smell more like a real bunny too!
Thank you, Maggie! I knew it all along! She is the imposter! I am the real Easter bunny here!

Now I can rest easy!

I have news to share. Yesterday for my Gotcha day dad took us all to Rhode Island! We visited with friends who have 2 horses and one of them came over to say hi to us! His name is Jigger and he's an American Quarter horse.

I got to go right up to his face and say hi rather loudly and rudely! Good thing he was friendly or I think I might have been in trouble because he is a rather big boy!
We also got to explore the grounds and Maggie and I found a pile of horse poo and the yummiest looking cabbage and lettuce and grapefruits and oranges only the evil mom wouldn't let us sample it! She said that this was the compost pile and it was off limits to us!
Dad also took us all out for lunch and I got to have Rhode Island clam cakes for the very first time in my life! OMG, are these things ever yummy!

I'd say I had a pretty darn good special day yesterday! I'm sure one lucky boy! I wish every day could be my gotcha day!

So until next time...............

Yer friend,

Mitch

  5. Hi Mitch & Maggie

You are so much cuter than that other easter bunny, Mitch and you can bark and play with Maggie. Where did you get the egg with the little doggie on it?? I love it.

You & Maggie always make my Mommy laugh at lot and cry sometimes too. The crying part is ok because on this post you remineded The Mommy of her Samantha when you was kissing that horsie...Samantha loved horsies & always went straight to the pasture whenever they went the country..the Mommy never lets me loose by myself but she let Samanta stay outside with the horsie all the time...Does that seem fair?

    Love ya lots & lots...Mona

  7. Sounds like you had a great time - if only you could have rolled around in the compost pile, the day would have been perfect.
We can tell you know you're one lucky pup to have such great people.

I'm real sorry I'm late wishing you a HAPPY GOTCHA DAY !! Mum is behind with my blogging again. I'm pleased you and Maggie and your pawrents had such a great time. The clam cakes sound and look yummie.
You were very brave to speak loudly to the horse coz he could've bitten you on the nose. I'm lucky coz Khomet is good with me too.
I think you look like the real Easter bunny and you look very cute too. I hope you and Maggie and your family have a safe and happy time over Easter. We will be thinking of you.

  18. Happy Gotcha Day, Mitch, buddy!!

Sounds like you had a wonderful time, except for when your mom would not yet you and Maggie roll in the compost pile. What a spoil sport!! Moms just don't know how to have fun. At least you go to sample the Rhode Island clam cakes. They sure do look yummy.

You were pretty brave around that horse, Mitch. He probably thought that you were being silly and took compassion on you.

I also agree with Maggie. You are a lot cuter than the Easter Bunny. And, I'm glad that you agree with me about hiding your stuff from the Easter Bunny. They keep telling me that the Easter Bunny hides your stuff from you, but I don't believe them. That sounds kind of dumb, don't you think?

    Have a great Easter!

    Love and Koobuss Kisses,

  19. MitchMan!

You, by far, are the coolest and cutest Easter Bunny! I had NO IDEA that you had this secret life and identity. It's almost like you're a spy or something.

In case you're wondering, Stella & I will take some of that horse poo and any other types of poo you can find for our MAIN Easter basket prezzie. Feel free to throw in any dead animals you find and anything else that smells tasty.

Thanks, man. Looking forward to your visit this weekend!

Loved your gotcha day fun! I've never met a horse up close & personal. You seemed as brave as he was!

    Goober love & smooches,
    Stanley

  20. ROAD TRIP! That looks like a special place. That is one big animal you are being rude at.

Grammie loves clams and Pappy loves to dig them. He never takes me with him though.

You are a better Easter bunny than the original.

You're also real cute! Second, how cool was it to see the horses? I just love them, and I see you feel the same way. Oh, those Rhode Island clam cakes sure look yummy. I'm soooo hungry now. 35. hi M&M, we're glad you got to properly celebrate your Gotcha Day, Mitch! that sounded like fun. we don't like horses much. Bailey likes to bark at them, but he's really full of bluff and he's kind of afraid. they're really big and mean looking.

you sure are the most handsome easter bunny that we've ever seen.

  40. Mitch!

I never knew the Easter Bunny was so cute, and quite so black and tan. This is good, because I was worried about having to meet him! But thank all fluffy toys that he is one of us! I knew eventually everyone would start turning over to our side.

Personally, I think every day is a gotcha day, Mitch! Just remind your human's of that (they have a hard time with saying "no", especially when you point your nose to the ground and look up at them!

Woohoo for converting the Easter Bunny!
