Chaos Before Dindin

Remember last month when we told you that this picture was most deceiving and that we're really not the little angels that we appear to be when mom is fixing our dindin bowls?

A couple of you asked to see a video of us in action and believe it or not, it's taken mom this long to get that video!
As soon as mom would start to record, Mitch would become a little angel and he wouldn't perform like he normally does and she'd have to stop recording and wait till the next day! It's only dindin time that it happens - not breakie!
HA! She finally wore the little bugger down!
Take a look~

So until next time.......................

Love ya lots,

Maggie and Mitch

  1. That is quite the dance for din din, I must say. Not for breakfast, huh, interesting. Maybe your mean mom makes you get up too early and you are still sleepy.

  2. Dinner is such an exciting time! Of course you have to carry on before hand. Do you get something different at breakfast that is not so delicious?

    Your friend

  3. Mitch wanted to EAT and Maggie wanted to PLAY!

Lilly has her very own dance of joy for dindins. She can get kinda loud.

  4. It's a dinner dance! And we love it! A sure sign of a happy dog! Two happy dogs. Just different ways of showing it.

Jake and Fergs (hopin' maybe we'll get carrot cake for breakfast! We'd even dance for it!)

  5. You sure had us fooled. Mom wouldn't let us have any sound while watching the video because she knew we'd get into a fracas.

    Lilly, Piper, Carrleigh and Java

  6. M and M
Whew.. I'm relieved. I thought you two were angels and always had perfect behavior. I feel better now that you goof around too. Oh.. and Happy Transplant Day to dad! That is an amazing. Life can be good.

  7. Hmmmm...we want what you guys get for dindin. Nobody (NOBODY) dances for kibble around here, so we think it must be great.

  8. Dinner is the loudest time of the day here too. When there were three of us, mom used to call it "the soup kitchen", since it was a real production. Everyone eats their own special food, prepared just how we like it. Good to know that you guys appear to be equally pampered!!

    Brutus the Frenchie

  9. Wow, so much excitement! I wish I had a buddy for a pre-dinner dance too. Oh well!

  10. Great video.. You 2 play like we do..

    Big Sloppy Kisses
    Gus, Louie and Callie

  11. Hi Maggie abd Mitch,
Boy, I wish I had high speed so I could see video. But really don't need to watch. I can imagine. Joker did a really cute dance while I was getting his din din too.
Love ya Lots, Bambi and Fern

  12. Well we don't blame ya.whats better than din din
    Hope it was scrumdilly icios
    Benny & Lily

    We're laughing a lot!!!!
    We love the barking part!!!!
    You 2 are the best!!!!
And we would love to wish Happy birthday to your dad....we read all your past post... and we want to thank the Boston Girl who have saved your dad and gave you a woderful family!!!!!!
    Tons of love and kisses

  15. What a great play time before dindin!

  16. That was funny. You town brobly waer yourselves out just messin around before dinner.

Me, being solo, dont have to mess with all that, I just get dinner.

Although I do get excited if I get a couple leftovers off the munchkins plate!!!

  17. holy moly, what an excited dance!

  18. Gee Mitch.....ya sure are a noisy one....when Gram's fixin' our dindin, we just watch 'er quietly.....just waitin' fer 'er ta put the bowls down where we can get ta it and eat it all Gram says her dear departed mini-schnauzer acted like a lunatic waitin' fer her dinner....runnin' in circles all over the place, 'n barkin' like a nut....funny how we are ALL DIFFERENT....but then that's what makes up the world, isn't it?

Have a great week guys...the weather here is absolutely beautiful.....

    Dewey Dewster here....

  19. Hey M&M,
Perfectly normal behavior by TBH&K standards. The term "jumping for joy" was coined to describe Sophie doing her Hi-Ho-Silver impersonation at any meal time.

  20. Your pre din-din time sure is interesting!
    I love your video!
Here, you can only hear my nails... coming and going... coming and going...
    until I get my food!
    Kisses and hugs

  21. BOL! That made me bark and run around, I wanted to jump in that little box with you.

    licks and sniffs, Sasha

  22. Looks like a rather moderate play/dance to me. Just happy to have a great dinner is all, I think. You're both perfectly behaved in my book.

  23. Hi, Maggie and Mitch -

You two had us fooled - we really thought you were angels. We liked the video - it reminded Mama of the way my older sister used to tug on her bathrobe to be fed for breakfast. She also did a dance for her breakfast.

    Love -

    Hershey and Kaci

  24. Hi Maggie and Mitch! That was a cute little dance! Do you guys dance often? -Hec and Lola

  25. Supper-dupper-dupper-dupper-dupper-dupper time!!!!!!!!!
    How exciting!!!

  26. That's just like my brother Knuckles and me whenever we visit each other and have to eat. Our humans have to feed us separately because we're so naughty!

  27. That's a lot like what we do when it is time for a walk. Mom wishes she could get Phantom to get excited about dinner.

    Woos, the OP Pack

  28. Haha...that's so cute! I think I do that sometimes too when I want something, but mostly I bark like crazy coz I can't wait =P Thanks for sharing the video!

  29. Just looks like you two are having a good time! ;)

  30. I think if I put a video of us before dindin you won't believe what you will see.....Sometimes Véronique has to carry Dyos in the kitchen....
I love the way you dance before dindin !!!! It is very nice....
    Kisses, Faya

  31. All that matters is that you're having fun. My sister gets quite excited for dinner time too.

    Teddy Bear

  32. Maggie! I love it! You just have to keep Mitch in his place, huh? I do something very similar when dogs i don't like keep sniffing me at the park! Also, could you send mitch my way? i sort of got into the garbage and thought it would helpful to have mitch around to blame it on! hehe Mama forgave me since SHE left it out!
    Love yall!

  33. Sue, glad to hear your hubby helps in the kitchen. I love that about a man and helps to make soup, hes good!!!
Love you lots, Happy, Bambi and Fern

  34. hehehe! I loved your dindin dance! You two are just so cute, even when you are being ornery!

  35. oh Mitch you made me bark too!
I love dinner! I run up and down up and down.
    ~lickies, Ludo

  36. You guys sure do get excited for dinner. It must be delicious.
    Love Ruby & Penny

  37. Heheheh...miss and thank you for your never giving up on my blog!!!!!
    Sir Loveyouawholelot

  38. I have a feeling your house is now a movie production studio.

  39. Hi Maggie and Mitch
I do the same din din dance that you do! And loud too!
HAPPY MEALS that is what its called!

  40. We loved your dindin routine - Mitch on vocals and and Maggie on wind instrument! If we have roast chicken - then I walk on my hind legs and hop to get the bowl - nothing as fun as you guys!

    Sally and Paddy

  41. Oh boy, do you always have so much fun during din din time? Can I come over for din din too? ;-)

  42. Funny! Think they would be to tired to eat after that. Ladybug has a crazy time right before she lays down for the night. She tears round and round the living room coffee table as quick as possible. If Jeff sits down with her she gets wilder. Thanks for stopping by and wishing us a happy anniversary.

  43. Well, you guys obviously haven't seen chaos yet! That's just normal behaviour...

  44. Luv the video! They are earning their dinner by a song & dance. Too cute!

Teddy & Louie runs like crazy & play and bark like mad around 800pm every evening.

    Hugs from all!

  45. Fudge does the same thing with his toys. It's not enough for him to have a toy, he has to keep nudging someone else with it. Most of the others ignore him, but Noah hates to be nudged or pushed. he snaps back, then the chase is on.

  46. hi m & m!
oh we love to see you two in action! emmitt sat straight up and started talking to you!

    what a great video!

    m & e

  47. hehe, that is a fun little play session you two have before your dindin..
