Wheelie Wednesday - The September Garden

Hi everyone. It's me, Autumn!
It's such a beautiful day and I had to check out what's blooming in the garden.

I'm at the foundation in front of our house.  The Autumn Crocus is in bloom!
And the Rose of Sharon is still blooming away~
These nasturtiums are going CRAZY!  I keep trying to redirect them so they creep along in the garden.  They are sure monsters!
The hydrangea never turned blue even though mom did give it a dose of aluminum sulfate.  We'll dump pine needles on it over the winter and dose her again in the spring and see if we can't get her to bloom blue next year.
The sedums are in bloom too.   They're so cheerful and the bees love them~

And the rugosa rose is still blooming away and it smells so pretty.  And we have red hips all over the bush!
We also have grapes that are climbing all over our hemlock hedge.  I don't eat grapes because they're poisonous  to dogs but mom says they are so sweet this year!
Thanks for taking a walk with me on this beautiful September day!

See you all next Wednesday.

Love,
Autumn

  8. Autuman, great walk with you in the garden today. Everything is blooming so beautifully. We love the hydrangea even if they aren't blue - that's a lovely shade of purple. Our Rose of Sharon trees are all blooming again too.

Enjoy the rest of your beautiful day.

  10. Our Mom is feeling sad because she planted two big pots of nasturtiums and even tho she watered them everyday, they cooked in the hot sun. Everything cooked this year, flowers, grass and even the trees.

  14. What a great garden tour, Autumn! That's funny...your mom wants her Hydrangia to bloom in blue and my mom keeps trying to get ours to bloom in pink! She keeps putting lime on it, but it hasn't worked YET! It might be because of all the pine needles!

    Happy Wheelie Wednesday!

  15. Autumn we are very busy tidying up our garden today after the chaos caused by the tail end of hurricane Katia. Oh my goodness it made such a mess of some of our flowers.

Think some of our winter flowering pansies will be planted later.

  18. Nice hat! Nice blooms. My mom said to tell your mom that she got her carpal tunnel from too much CROCHETING. She hopes to get back to that one day. She said she would make me a hat. I'm not so thrilled.
