This is my new friend, Shelby. He's a 13-week old English Setter. Are you thinkin' of bopping me on my head?
This is Shelby's brother, Quinn. He's a 3 year old English Setter. I really wanted to play with him but the hoomans said that Shelby was more my size.
Black and tans! These Rotties were very nice to me!
This is the cupola before the crane arrived.
The crane is here - time to get this thing hooked up and on it's way up to the sky and onto the roof!
That wooden boxy contraption just underneath the windows is going to be raised to just underneath the overhang of the roof and that's how the cupola will be lifted.
Going up~
The cupola is being lowered to the roof.
The cupola on its new home~
I sure did meet lots of nice hoomans but I never got to eat a thing, Mitch, so trust me, you didn't miss out on anything!
Love ya lots,
Molly
Hi Molly, wow that's a beauty. Your dad is very talented. Hey Mitch, remember if you don't get enough attention or treats, you're always welcome up here. We can get Sunshade and Jaffaman to come along on walks too. Oh yeah, Sunshade's evil mum is dehydrating organic chicken strips. They'll be ready by the time you get yup here.
ReplyDeleteHey Molly, looks like you made LOTS of new furiends. some of them were pretty big compared to you. Your Dad does great work. That cupola is really something. Say hi to Mitch. Hope you told him all about your adventure.

Oooo! I thought you were gonna get bopped on the head too! What a great day, even if there weren't any snacks!
ReplyDeleteWOWZERS!!! The barn and cupola are simply gorgeous! We loved seeing it go up - how very exciting!
ReplyDeleteMolly, I can't believe you got to go and Mitch didn't! Make sure you do something extra nice for him, OK? Us guys don't like being left out of stuff -- especially where there is heavy machinery involved!
I like your new friends! Did Shelby really bop you on the head? HA roo roo roo!
Play bows,
Zim
you are very brave little one. I would have run for the hills when I saw those 2 rotties coming at me

What fun to watch the cupola being raised by the crane! We think we heard you whimpering there, were you worried about those men way up high there?

ReplyDeleteOh Molly, I'm so glad that you got to meet with some black and tans, they are actually the sweetest guys in the world and I hope you can make friends with them too.
ReplyDeleteThe cupola is gorgeous and it looks wonderful on top of the barn now.
hi molly!
ReplyDeleteoh what an exciting day you had!
look at all the fun the doggies and people are having!
we love seeing all of you!
Shelby sure looks adorable and a perfect playmate size for you! Avalon sometimes bops me on the head, if she feels polite enough to ask if I wanna play! We all LOVE the new cupola - the barn was so beautiful anyway, but now it is just stunning; what an addition and several daring peeples to be up that high on the roof, positioning it! Glad you had fun, Molly!
ReplyDeleteHugs xoxoxo
Sammie (and Avalon too!)
Molly I think you did a great job on your first official barn outing. It looks like you had some fun pups to play with too!
ReplyDeleteNubbin wiggles,
Oskar
Hee! Hee! That picture of Shelby bopping you on the head is just the cutest! And wow - my humans are the totally useless DIY kind who can't even hang up a picture straight - so Hsin-Yi is just full of awe looking at your pictures of the cupola going up and thinking that your peoples actually BUILT that thing??!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like such a fun day!
Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
The cupola is a grand grand hat to put on! Wow!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I can7t help thinking how cute you look in that first picture Molly. :D

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you found new playmates, Molly. That cupola is beautiful! It made your roof even more attractive. Cupolas have been used as roof ornaments since way, way back. And it's so nice to see these beauties evolve as we advance to the future.

Aren't you the most adorable, Molly? =) That cupola is just lovely. It made the barn stand out. The rustic design of the cupola is definitely a good choice.
ReplyDelete-Chantay Smithingell
I’m glad it was a success! No accidents or anything, just new friends. :D I think it was placed in a very prominent position, at the very center of the roof. I always find cupolas cute. A roof on top of a roof! It’s a really cool place to look over the animals and the whole barn.
