A Roof Update
Our roof is coming along. Dad has been on the roof pretty much all by himself.
Mom's job is on the ground. She's cutting shingles to a specific size - what dad calls starters shingles.
We're busy with stuffed bones while we supervise.
And we take breaks for biteyface.
And occasionally, I steal Molly frozen washcloth that she uses for her teething toofers. She barks at me and gives me away, which makes mom stop what she's going and notice that I'm a thief. Tattletail!
Dad said that we're the best supervisors ever. We're off to Durham for ice cream!

ReplyDeleteRoofing is hard work, both for the workers and the snooper visors. We think there should be more than one wet cloth provided:)

Hi Mitch and Molly, your dad sure is busy. That's a huge back-breaking job - roofing is not easy so we're suitably impressed that he's done so much by himself up there. Having an assistant (your mom) to help is much appreciated by your dad I bet. And then he takes everyone out for ice-cream, pretty good guy there.

How’s the roof? Your dad is quite the handyman to fix the roof by himself. It seems he wasn’t wearing any safety gear when he was working though. The next time he goes up on the roof, I would advise he wear safety equipment. After all, safety is the number one priority!
