Strawberry Spinach Salad
1 small bag spinach (about 8-10 cups)
1 cup sliced strawberries
1 cup blueberries
1 small zucchini, thinly sliced
1/4 cup feta cheese
2 Tablespoons raw sunflower seeds- the recipe calls for pumpkin seeds but we used what we had.
Eat your spinach, Molly. It will make you grow up big and strong like Popeye!
We love strawberries♥
Eat it, Molly. It's a blueberry. Mom isn't trying to poison you - honest!
3 Tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate
2 Tablespoons olive oil
1 Tablespoon white wine vinegar - we didn't have that so we used apple cider vinegar
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon poppy seeds
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
Mix dressing ingredients in a small bowl and pour over salad ingredients just before serving.
This was last night's dinner and it was soooooooooo yummy! Don't the plates look festive!
We'll taste-test any recipe you want to throw at us, mom!
So until next time.............
Love ya lots♥

Your salad looks very patriotic as well as yummy! We hope you had a good 4th! It has been raining here since...since, well, I don't remember when it started, but it's been going on for way too long! Most of the 4th of July fireworks were cancelled (for us, that's a GOOD thing). Anyway, I hope you are having better weather than we are!
