I'm admitting it. I have a thing for feathers!
If I see them and I can't reach them or get to them, I bark until someone helps me and fetches it for me.
I'm not fond of the little ones. I like the big ones. There's more to chew on!
I chew on them until there is nothing left to them!
I LOVE feathers!
Do any of you have a feather fetish?
Love ya lots♥
Mitch
As long as you stick with the feathers that are already off the birds you should be OK.
ReplyDeleteJust don't go near dad's swans.
Kisses,
Dexter
I picked up a bird feather in my yard, butt it made me sneeze so I dropped it!
ReplyDeleteI do love a chew on a good feather - but like you it has to be a big feather - don't like the little ones.
ReplyDeleteAhh... Mugsy, my previous JRT, had a thing for feathers too. He plucked more than one from Petey, the inlaws' bird... Hem. (Petey died of not-Mugsy causes, thankyouverymuch.)
ReplyDeleteSilly Mitch, don't the feathers tickle the inside of your mouth? :-)
ReplyDeleteSilly Mitch, don't the feathers tickle the inside of your mouth? :-)
ReplyDeleteVery cute! But you haven't got any bird no?
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever encountered a feather. Gotta work on that!
ReplyDeleteWe have a fur fetish....squirrel fur that is. Have a terrific tasty Tuesday Mitch.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
I like what they're attached to! Ha roowooroo!
ReplyDeleteCammie!
Maybe because Mom's budgies throw feathers all over the place, we don't pay much attention to them.
ReplyDeleteYes the kittens love feathers too!! Circle has no use for them tho!! LOL
ReplyDeleteYou DO seem to have a THING fur Feathers. Ernie ATE one once. ALL of it.
ReplyDeleteNo. We'd love to send you some cockatoo feathers to chew thought.
ReplyDeleteBet all your birdies leave big feathers for you. Just remember they have to be off the bird...
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
I have never tried a feather. I might have to give a try. Thanks for the info.
ReplyDeleteLoveys Sasha
Not really. Mom did pull a teeny one off the roof of my mouth once
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Ummm, we have never seen a feather but now we are very curious!!
ReplyDeleteFeathers are nice. Slippers are cool too. And River likes mulch
ReplyDeleteWe don't see many feathers around here, but Mom says she would much rather have us munching on feathers than walnuts. Lightning has had a sick tummy this week - he has found more nuts:(
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
Wow! You must have missed the post that we did...quite awhile ago now...it was a video of Chloe's FEAR of Feathers!! She is terrified of feathers...ESPECIALLY the big ones!! If we see any, we should send them to you! Looks like you are enjoying that feather! xoxo Chloe and LadyBug
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have ever seen a feather that wasn't attached to a bird and mom wouldn't be happy if I put any of those in my mouth.
ReplyDeleteWalter
Okay, it must be a Dale thingie, cause I do love me a feather!!! Any size will do for me!! I loves playin' with them and chewin' them til Ma sees me and tries to get me to 'drop'...pfffffft!! Pawty pooper! I told her they are okay to eat, butts she says I have a 'delicate' tummy and doesn't want to take the chance.
ReplyDeleteHey, you gots an extra??
Kisses,
Ruby
pees: I also likes the bird poop.
Neither of our pups like feathers. But, I keep finding them in my path, and I'm convinced that Angel K is dropping them there, to bring me good luck!
ReplyDeleteDo you use them to tickle your peeps?
ReplyDeleteHarlow loves feathers! It's not unusual for her to come in with one stuck to her - but she loves feathers of all sizes!
ReplyDeleteSam
I love feathers too, but I never saw one as beautiful as yours.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the well wishes you sent me.

You need a peacock feather.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
Hmmm....I can't say I've ever tried one. Very interesting that you like them though. You part kitty?
ReplyDeleteHey Mitch, they do say that you feel better after you admit something like this...:-) And it sure looks like you have fun with those feathers-can't say I've even seen one!
ReplyDeleteMy sis, Gracie, loves feathers! Always picks them up and takes them home from our hikes. How funny!
