I Am 6 Months Old

I am 6 months old!  Mom and dad are forever telling me how much I remind them of Mitch.

When Mitch was 6 months old, he weighed 45.5 pounds.   I weigh 46.5 pounds.
Mitch was 22" to the withers.   I am 24" to the withers
Mitch's neck was 14 3/4".    My neck measures 15".
Mitch's tail length was 5" and mine is 6".   They dock them differently in Missouri  ;-)
 Molly's tail length is 9" and so was angel Maggie's.

This was Molly at 6 months old~
She weighed 44.5 pounds and was 22" to the withers.
And this was angel Maggie at 6 months old.  It was Christmas time☺
Maggie weighed 32 pounds.
 I think it's safe to say that I'm going to be a big boy - bigger than Mitch was.   Time will tell!

When Mitch was 6 months old, mom bought him his very first leather bigboy collar.   He looks so handsome in it and he wore it more than any other collar for his entire life.      
 Mom wanted me to have one too and dad said that he would rather that I honor Mitch and wear his collar.
I will wear your collar, Mitch, with honor and with pride.     Happy 6 months birthday to me! 
 Mom says that Mitch would have really liked me.    I wish that I could have met Mitch.

    Oh that is the perfect collar. We did the same thing. And with horse halters too! Those were some great photo's to see. Happy Birthday!
    BTW about those pumpkins you should show them off at The Fall Party I'm sure those little models will be glad to oblige.
    My Daisy actually hates to have her picture takin' she always turns her face!

    Mackie I am not at all surprised by your measurements. I declare each picture of you on a new day looks like you grew an 1" over night!! You are a big boy and your sweet heart is twice as big too. For sure an honor and a privilege
    to wear Mitch's collar...always good to remember those who paved the way to our peeps hearts for us.

    Six months old already! Mackie I am glad you are helping to make the sadness of Mitch's going to the Bridge better for you Dad. He sure did searching to find you and sure did disappear off your Moms's radar for awhile when he was getting you.
