We are joining Arty this week for Flower Friday.
The most exciting thing happened on our walk! We saw a skunk and he was actually running to try to catch us. No, we don't have a picture because mom was running to get away from him! No fun, mom - I really wanted to meet him!
This Kousa Dogwood tree just happens to be in my back yard!
The chives are blooming~
We had to look this one up. It's a Weigela and such a pretty color but there is no pretty fragrance.
You know she couldn't pass by happy smiling pansy faces and not take their picture☺
Pinks!
Time to head upstairs for my drink of water!
Thank you for coming along on my walk with me! Happy Friday, everybuddy☺
Love ya lots♥
Molly

Wow!! It must have been pretty fun taking a walkie(or maybe a jog?) with the skunk. Maybe it was that skunk Flower from Bambi??

Hi Molly I have just caught up on your posts as it has been a bit busy here! I love your Mom's new sneakers they are wonderful. We did pop over to Louis's Blog to look at all the books recomended, I love it when we find new books to read. I hope you had a lovely Memorial Day and wish to thank all who have or do serve in both our countries. My grandfather and father served in WWI and WWII. I love Flower Friday and have got some pictures of our flowers which I will get loaded soon. I am sorry not to see the skunk but can understand your Mom running away as fast as possible or else you would have been bathing in Tomatoes!!!!! Have a lovely weekend you two. Summer Hugs, Susie & Treacle xx
ReplyDeleteYou sure found lots of pretty flowers!
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend.
Love the Dogwoods. Something about flowers is refreshing
ReplyDeleteLily & Edward
Oh be very careful. Around here skunks are the number one carriers of rabies. A wild animal that comes toward you can be sick.
ReplyDeleteWe have wiegela bushes and they are pretty for a very short time.
You sure do have gorgeous flowers on your walk! I haven't seen dogwood in bloom in a really long time. And I love the Weigela! Its color is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThe skunk chased you? Now that is scary.
ReplyDeleteA skunk? I's never seen one of those!
ReplyDeleteWe loved your walk. But we would have liked to see the skunk. We've heard that they are cheeky little fellows.
ReplyDeleteBest to run as fast as you can if you see a skunk, Molly - Skunks mean stinkies and that mens lots of baths:(
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers, especially the weigela.
Woos - Misty and Lightning
Your flowers are lovely! I bet they smell a whole lot better than that skunk!
ReplyDeleteWe just love when people take the time to plant a flower garden ~ why it just makes us smile and the world a much prettier place ~ we need that! Thanks Molly for the POTP Lee is worried about me and she hates we have to wait two whole weeks to get in to the specialist. Please keep me in your prayers.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a friend
Sweet William The Scot

Licks,
Cobi
Pee Ess Your flowers are very pretty!
OMD! A skunk was chasing you? That could really stink! LOL! Your flowers are so pretty. ♥
ReplyDeleteWe are so relived you got away from the skunk, we think he might have been sick since he was chasing you so it is a very good thing you didn't meet him.
ReplyDeleteThose were all such pretty flowers. You wouldn't have been smelling very good if you had met that skunk. We think your mom did the right thing.
ReplyDeleteWe love all of your beautiful flowers you saw on your walk!! It would have been kind of funny to see you guys running from Mr. Skunk...BOL!

Hi there! (New follower). I was wondering, because the neighborhood looked familiar, are you in CT?
ReplyDeleteHow funny! I think I met you once, when I was out taking a lunchtime walk. I spotted a dog, so of course I had to stop and say hello! (This was a few years ago)
DeleteOh, must not be the same dogs then. The couple I met lived in Hamden about 4 or 5 years ago.

ReplyDeleteOf khourse, we khan't believe woo didn't get to meet the special blakhk and white khytty!
