Mom and I went on our usual morning walk and then she went grocery shopping and when she got back she said to me, "Molly, we're going to walk on the Farmington Canal this morning. It's just too pretty out not to!"
So off we went~~
This is right at the entrance where we begin our walk. There are some excellent smells here, mom!
And the college campus entrance is right across the street.
Mom is forever searching for pretty flowers to photograph but honestly, there is so much shade on this walk that she doesn't find too many flowers.
That's okay, mom - it's fun anyway!
She did find a Queen Anne's Lace and that made her happy☺
Have a terrific Thursday, everybuddy!
Love ya lots♥
Molly
that is a fabulous are for a walk... and you are right, such walks make a day to a special day... or THE pawfect day ;o)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great extra walk and lovely day, shade is great if it is warm so you can have the best of both worlds. It is raining here again and the only day which looks like it will be nice is Saturday. Oh well at least the plants and flowers like the rain! Have a lovely Thursday. Hugs, Susie & Treacle xx
ReplyDeleteOK. You guys are a day early for Flower Friday but I will give you credit for remembering to take pictures on your lovely walk

What a pretty walk! It's gotten too HOT here to walk except furst thing in the morning.
ReplyDeleteA shady walk is the perfect kind this time of year. Our mom loves Queen Anne's Lace too.
ReplyDeleteNothing nicer than a walk in the shade!
ReplyDeleteWe sometimes go to classes at Paws N Effect, which is across the walk. Have you ever gone there?
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with a shady walk here if it is hot - but we struggle to find that shade:) No walks yet today for us, it is pouring rain really hard, but thankfully no severe weather - that may happen tonight.
ReplyDeleteWe say an enormous Queen Anne's lace flower the other day. Mom should have taken a pic of it.

ReplyDeleteYou have some wonderful places to walk. That one seems very nice.
ReplyDeleteQueen Annes' Lace is lovely, but I must confess that it's a week in Australia. I still like it, though.
