So far, mom has been faithfully watering our houseplants and nothing has died yet so she decided to get risky.
Let's see if you can keep these African Violets alive and flowering, mom!
The pink one and the blue one came from Paradise Nursery, which is only a 5 minute drive from us.
And she discovered this one at the grocery store this week and couldn't leave without it.
We don't have any plants emerging from the ground outside yet and the grass is still its yucky winter bleh color. The blooming flowers inside are making us smile☺
Happy Friday, everybuddy!
Love ya lots♥

oooooh your mom has green thumbs!!! YAY... love the colors of the last photo... imagine such colors for a dress...wow!!!!
ReplyDeleteThey are gorgeous...but would have a limited lifespan in this house! We think they'll do better in your house.
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful!!! Mom used to have very good luck with African violets, especially the ones from the grocery store. The one she has now is a dud. It doesn't have any flowers and it never seems to get any height. She is going to have to hit one of the local nurseries to see if she can find a healthier one like yours.

Pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love plants indoors and out. My latest challenge to myself is to grow edibles inside. I haven't figured what to start with. I have a vanilla bean orchid but it's only grown one inch in a year, so I can't consider it edible, lol. Maybe I might try lettuces in winter on the sunny side of the house.
ReplyDeleteYour african violets are lovely. Hope they do well for you

They make me smile too! You are inspiring to me - maybe I should actually try to keep a flowering plant alive indoors! Yours are so beautiful.

Your flowers are so pretty. We do have some witch-hazel in bloom in our yard right now.
ReplyDeleteI wish you the best. African Violets are so pretty. I have never had much luck.
ReplyDeleteI won't stick my finger in your dirt. LOL.
Have a beautiful week.
Mom used to have African violets and they were so pretty. But when the pups came along, they managed to get into the violets and dug them up. Maybe it's time to try again.
