Off we go for our country walk~
We found some wild geraniums~
The Lily of the Valley are in our yard and they are so fragrant!
And we found a Lilac that hasn't been turned to mush by all of the rain that we've been having~
Could this be a Russian Olive tree? It sure smells pretty!
We think this could be pink Honeysuckle?
We love this variegated leaf~
We're not sure exactly what this is. We are not doing very well at naming flowers today, are we.
We found Mayapple in our yard~
A happy Tulip!
Mom learned a LONG time ago that this was a Jack in the Pulpit!
We just love this gorgeous Iris!
What a beautiful Red Maple Tree!
Thanks for walking along with us.
Happy Friday, everybuddy!
Love ya lots♥

ReplyDeleteWhat are those furry things that appear with the Jack in the Pulpit? Do they grow in Virginia? We would plant some here for sure.

It must be fun walking in your new area and finding all the pretty flowers you discovered. You and Mom did very well.
ReplyDeleteDid you bring some of your lily of the valley with you? The ones you sent us are doing the best they have done ever this year. We even had a few flowers. Mom doesn't think they are in the ideal location, but she can't put them in the back with us as we know they can be poisonous to dogs. Mom is thrilled that they are still alive because you were so kind to send them to us.
