We are joining Jakey for Flower Friday!
We're off on our walk and finding pretty flowers~
The purple flower you see in front of me is Spiderwort.
These are wild roses. They are such a PAIN with their sharp thorns and they grow everywhere like weeds but their fragrance is fabulous!
The Juniper has berries~
We found a pretty pink Peony!
And a beautiful purple Clematis~
Bird Vetch is considered a weed but we just happen to think that it's a very pretty weed.
These Clover flowers are huge!
Yarrow~
And pretty pink Coral Bells~

Pretty flowers. The Peonies are out here too, but the rain storms have managed to wreck them quite a bit.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty selections. Some weeds have pretty flowers. Dog Dad sometimes needs Mom to distinguish weed from flower.

ReplyDeleteThank you for your wishes about my paw. I went on a Walk today and it was mostly fine. Even though it is still bleeding a bit. And funny-colored. I did not limp, and so my person let me Walk. Whew.
I am happy that you got a Walk today with the flowers. And also it is Friday, which makes the people happy! Have a happy Friday!

ReplyDeleteWe have a few of those spiderwort flowers in our yard too. That clematis you showed is a lot more fancy than ours! It's amazing!
ReplyDeleteYour Clematis is fabulous. Ours are wild ones, and they are dull compared to yours!
ReplyDeleteOur wild roses are the same way - sharp and they grow everywhere - but they are gorgeous like yours!
We have some wild roses that grow in the very upper corner of our yard Actually they are in the neighbors yard but they grow over into our yard

Hi there Molly! Hope you and mom are settling in to your new home! We just love all the pictures of the pretty flowers...but the clematis is AMAZING! Stunning in fact! I have never seen a purple one before!
ReplyDeleteSo many different beauties!!! We especially like the Clematis -- Mom seems to have killed hers somehow. Everyone else's are huge and covered in blooms and Mom has a sprig about 6" high. Hmm. It wasn't me, that's all I know.
