We are joining Rosy for Flower Friday~
We didn't have to walk very far this week to find a beautiful Clematis. This vine belongs to Landlord Bob~
This is the flower up close~
And he has another Clematis planted along the fence line that separates his yard from ours.
I think I see an AireGirl in our basement, mom!
A couple of weeks ago, mom told you that we had Mayapple growing in our yard. She thought that it was but it isn't. These plants are Chinese Lanterns and the fruit that you see that is green will turn orange eventually! Mom is thrilled because it means she can pick them and have free autumn decorations for inside the house!
The Daylilies are in bloom.
And we found this striking Rose Campion blooming not far from the Daylily~
Happy Friday, everybuddy!
Love ya lots♥
Molly
purple is the pawfect background for you... I bet that flowers were proud to be in a photo with an aire girl ;O)

My Grandfather had just the same clematis in his garden and it was his pride and joy. He tended that plant more than any others in his garden which had lots of flowers and plants. I just love the colour. Can't wait to see the Chinese lanterns how lucky for you. We love the last picture of Molly she has such a beautiful face.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend.

ReplyDeleteI have a clematis like that one. It's not blooming yet, pretty soon though. It didn't do so well last year but this year it looks fine.
