Seven Years

Seven years have passed since I met my mom~

 Today, I am celebrating with a Bubba Cheeeeeeeeze Burger  on my Gotcha Day!

 And I have a bullystick!

Life is good♥

We have flower cupcakes - lots of them. Come on over and help me celebrate☺

Rain Rain Go Away

More rain is on the way today.  We have seen way too much rain for our liking but thankfully, we got our walkie in this morning before the sprinkles started.

Thank goodness for Whimzees!

 And mom says thank goodness for her jigsaw puzzles.  She said this is the hardest one that she has done yet because of all of the sky, oh and BTW, mom takes them apart when she's finished and puts the pieces back in the box to re-work them in the future.

Nature Friday

We are joining Jakey today for Nature Friday.

The black flies are horrible with all of the rain that we've had and now the warmer temps That white thing tied to my harness is a dryer sheet.   We hear they help to keep the black flies away plus mom and I are both wearing Rose Geranium and Lemon Eucalyptus essential oil.    We're trying our best to keep these annoying buggers away but it's a very hard thing to do with all of the woods and water in our area.   

The dryer sheet didn't work so mom bought me Ben's that comes highly recommended by our good friend, Phil, who passed away a year ago.  Mom sprayed my purple bandana and her hat.   The Ben's is working☺

She treated herself to another hyacinth and the pot had two different color purples in it.   How lucky is she!

 And she treated herself to a Gardenia♥

 And my sissy surprised her with an Easter Lily☺

We discovered that when the flowers die, you can plant the Easter Lily outside and it will come back next year.   And here is the proof~

We found a what we think is a Star Magnolia.   You can see how wet the ground is in front of the tree. 

 And we found pretty purple creeping flowers.  

We found what Nanny used to call Money plant.  It blooms with either purple flowers or white flowers.

 The Daffies always make us smile☺

 We found ferns that are just coming to life~

 And we found TONS of Poison Ivy~

Tardy Tuesday

We were tardy for Earth Day because for days, all we have seen is rain rain rain but not today!   The sun is shining!

 The purple Magnolia is in bloom~

 And so is the Weeping Cherry tree~

 And there are Violets in the grass and mom really NEEDS to cut the grass but it's been too wet.

 The Dandy's are happy to see the sun as much as we are☺

 Throw the ball, mom!

 We planted a Hellebore in memory of Mitch.  The poppy behind the plant is silk, not real.  

 So we are celebrating Earth Day today.

 Every day should be Earth Day!

 It sure is nice to see the sun!

Nature Friday

We are joining Arty this week for Nature Friday~
We are seeing lots and lots of Daffies and they are so pretty and cheerful!

 The Pachysandra flower is blooming~

 We found our first tulip~

 Grape Hyacinths~

 Periwinkle and the beautiful and so very fragrant Hyacinth!  

 And the Forsythia is in bloom~

 And Woody the Woodpecker is having a great time pecking at this downed tree~

 Mom was at the nursery and she couldn't resist those smiling face Pansies~

 And she doesn't have to throw herself on the ground to take in the intoxicating fragrance of the Hyacinth because she has one on her windowsill and last night, our entire house smelled so incredibly beautiful!
