We're Thanksgiving Cookering

I've been helping mom make the pumpkin pie!   The crust is a gingersnap crust and I got to sample a gingersnap cookie!
 The pumpkin filling is yummy too.
 Just the right amount of spices, mom.    Fill the gingersnap crust with the filling and let's get the pie into the oven~
 Next was the cranberry sauce.   
I'm not sure about sampling a frozen cranberry, mom. 
 Mom always put orange chunks in her cranberry sauce.   Not sure about this orange either mom.  
 It's cookerin' away on the stove~
 The pumpkin pie is done!   It looks and smells delicious.    This is dinner for tonight right, mom?!☺
Back to the kitchen for more Thanksgiving preparation.    I'm the bestest helper ever!

    It's hard work! We've been helping out Mom with chopping stuff she needs to cook tomorrow. The gingersnap crust sounds really tasty! Happy Thanksgiving!

    You really are, Molly! We didn't have to do too much cooking here since family is cooking the big meal.
    Luke was outside screwing around and missed the best part, when I dumped half the custard pie on the floor! LOL - bummer! We had it cleaned up before he got back in.

    A gingersnap crust with pumpkin pie sounds really good. Mom has been busy cooking all day here too. We helped - we did our best to clean up all the tidbits that she dropped on the floor:)

    Mom is making stuffing and sweet potatoes tomorrow to take to human son's. then mom & dad are cooking a small turkey on Friday so they don't miss out on leftovers BOL!

    Don't you just love Thanksgiving? There's so much good stuff to eat. Mom is cooking up some turkey parts for our dinner and she always gives us some mashed potatoes. Have a great day.
