We are joining Rosy and Arty today for Nature Friday~
Look who I met as we were leaving to head out for our morning walkie. She sure wasn't very friendly.
These pretty purple ones are in our own backyard.
Mom bought these sunny yellow ones that she found for half price!
She also bought an Oriental Poppy. Poppies are her very favorite flower.
We also found this spectacular giant alliums along with white columbines. We love this lady's garden!
I looked for Mrs Turtle when we came back from our walk and she was exactly where we left her and she was still just as unfriendly.
Happy Friday, everybuddy!Love ya lots♥
Molly
Beautiful Columbine & Stunning poppy!! Good thing it wasn't a snapping turtle Molly...think band-aid on your cute little nose.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend you two.
The flowers are very nice. We have some flowers around finally. Turtles are weird. Mom says they are prehistoric creatures in her opinion. We find them very boring and just bark and howl if we see one.
ReplyDeleteYou find all the best stuff, Molly!
ReplyDeleteGood Golly Miss Molly that turtle is missing out by no being friendly with you.
ReplyDeleteYour posies are gorgeous. You know I love the oriental poppy
Love you lots too

ReplyDeleteI love going on your nature walks, Miss Molly. It's always good to see the beautiful flowers and the beautiful you. I can't understand why Mrs. Turtle is so unfriendly. How could anyone be unfriendly toward you?
ReplyDeleteHave a woof woof day and weekend. My best to your mom. ♥
We are wondering how you can be sure it is a Mrs Turtle and not a Mr Turtle?
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, we love your columbines, and all the other beautiful flowers of course.
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
You found lots of pretty flowers on your walk. Too bad Mrs. Turtle didn't want to be your friend.
ReplyDeleteSheesh...we can't believe that turtle wasn't more friendly BOL!
ReplyDeleteOur columbines bloomed very early this year, so we love seeing yours are still blooming!!
xoxo,
Rosy & the Gang
Oh my gosh you confronted a baby dinosaur.
ReplyDeletePerhaps the turtle is simply waiting and resting until the rabbit arrives and the race begins ...
ReplyDeleteLulu: "So that's where Sky Turtle has been hanging out! Maybe she's wondering what happened to her balloons ..."
ReplyDeleteYour Mom and my Mom have the same taste in flowers! We only see turtles and tortoises at the lakes, and then they run away! Did she snap at you? He hope you have a mt osexcellent weekend
ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful flowers! Oriental Poppies have always been a favorite of mine, but I could never get any to grow. :( I love the Columbine too, I might have to try some of them sometime.
ReplyDeleteHope you can find a more friendly turtle another time! :)
I love poppies too. In England they plant them in the wheat fields, golden wheat and red poppies, so pretty.
ReplyDeleteSorry your neighbourhood turtle is not friendly. What lovely flowers.
ReplyDeleteColumbines are my favorite! You are so lucky, Molly! Enjoy them.
ReplyDeleteLovely to see the summer flowers coming out they are so pretty. Columbines do well in our garden thank goodness. Miss Turtle does not look very happy! Hugs & Love, Susie & Treacle xx
