Nature Friday

We are joining Rosy and Arty this week for Nature Friday~

The poison ivy leaves in their autumn colors are so pretty this time of year~

People confuse poison ivy with virginia creeper.   Virginia creeper has five leaves where poison ivy only has three.
Mr Mike's dahlias are still blooming away~
The mullein is so big and the leaves are furry and soft.
Should I be afraid?!

Happy Friday, everybuddy!

Love ya lots♥

Molly

  5. Those poison ivy leaves are pretty but like Cecilia said that red should also warn you to stay away! Around here we have both Virginia creeper and poison ivy climbing our trees. Both are so pretty right now.

  10. You don't look afraid, Molly, you are a brave girl! I never know poison ivy for sure when I see it, so we just avoid anything that looks at all like it!

  11. We were walking in a strange place we haven't been to before and there was a sign to watch out for poison ivy. Mom has no idea how it looks so we just left that area. Happy Friday!

  16. We loved your walk and thank you for telling us how to spot poison ivy. We do not have it here in the UK, but we do have other things which can catch you out like stinging nettles!! Don't be scared Molly you are so brave being near the Halloween decoration. Hugs & Love, Susie & Treacle xx
