Tuesday Tea

 Mom made a tea cozy for the very first time. She had lots of fun making it and she probably won't use it for what it's designed for because it's white.   Maybe you need to make another one in a more practical color, mom!    Does anyone want to join me for tea and cookies?

She made my knitted collar cover awhile ago using this same holly and berry pattern, which is very simple and works up quickly.  The collar is just a simple garter stitch knitted in the width and length that would fit me best.

Our Fifteenth Blogaversary

Fifteen years ago today, Maggie shared her sweet face on this blog for the very first time. 

Maggie posted on the blog all by herself for 3 months until Mitch made his entrance and it was Maggie and Mitch's blog for a long time. 

 They had so many fun adventures and we still think about them and we miss them.

 When Maggie passed in January of 2012, Mitch carried the blog all by himself for 3 months.

 I made my puppy entrance on the blog at the very end of April of 2012 and Mitch and I had fun times together until he joined Maggie at Rainbow Bridge in April 2016.

I got to post on the blog all by myself for 9 days until Mackie joined our family in April of 2016.

 Mackie and I no longer live together, as you know, but we do see each other on occasion. 

 

Now the blog belongs to me and I will do my best to make Maggie and Mitch proud of me and proud of the blog that Maggie started all of those years ago.  

We've met so many wonderful friends in these fifteen years and that includes each and every one of you.    Thank you so much for being my friend and for being a part of our lives.

Nature Friday

We are joining Rosy and angel Arty for Nature Friday~

 We are still seeing lots of pretty colorful autumn leaves~

We saw a peacock!

These bittersweet berries are just beginning to pop open.  They are a different variety than what we're used to seeing.

We found a 'sploding milkweek!

Wednesday morning, we had heavy frost and we spotted this wee mini red bush with frosty edges.

Life is Good

Yesterday, we had company that came for tea and sweet potato muffins.  Mom made the muffins and Miss Donna brought the herbal tea and she stayed for four and a half hours.  It was wonderful!

This morning, I got to walk with my friend, Argo, and we walked a whole new route!

Life is sure good!

Nature Friday

 We are joining Arty today for Nature Friday.

It's been frosty here for the past three mornings~

Mom says that the autumn leaves are just as pretty as any flower~

The colder temps feel so nice on my shorter furs and just to let you all know - yes, I am back to walkies!   My foot is one hundred percent better☺

Yesterday, mom was looking out the window and she spotted a female pheasant and not far behind her, was the gorgeous male.   They were eating the ornamental cherries that were all over the ground and mom didn't want to take their picture and scare them away.   What a treat to see them both!

We are just loving this beautiful weather!

Terrific Tuesday

 Mom gave me a bath on Halloween -and I'm not sure if this was a trick or a treat and yesterday, she groomed me. 

After groomies, we set out on our walk.  It was a beautiful day sunny and in the 60's, which is fabulous for November.   We know that it can't last. 

The autumn foliage is so beautiful and mom says it smells so wonderful.
