To England With Love

Our eyes are glued to the TV~~

Our thoughts are with the people of the United Kingdom as they mourn their beloved Queen Elizabeth II,
the longest-living and longest-reigning British monarch♥

Rest in Peace Queen Elizabeth II♥

  2. Our mom has been watching the funeral all morning, too. It's been very interesting to watch.

  3. She will be missed. An amazing woman who led through so much history, when women weren't supposed to lead. God Save our King. Lee and Phod who live in a Constitutional Monarchy

  4. Molly and Mom we watched every minute too....I've 'known' Queen Elizabeth my entire life.
May she rest in much deserved peace and quiet with her beloved mom, dad, sister and husband

The images of the horses and her corgis made LES happen AGAIN -
And in her memory, I pulled out picture of my British Paternal GM that will be part of our Tuesday post -

  10. We missed the funeral because mornings are the busiest time of the day for us as we need to walk or run, eat, and Mom had a ton of work to do. We will catch it on replay somewhere later this week. Mom still says it will take a long time to remember she is no longer there.

  11. Thank you Sue & Molly. It has been a real shock, although Queen Elizabeth was 96 and you knew that evetually things would change but she has been Queen for so long. We think that all the different ceremonies for the Queen's funeral and for King Charles to take over have been fascinating to watch because of course no one has sene these before. We will really miss the Queen but Long Live The Queen. Hugs & Love Susie & Coco xx
