Mom has read bad things more than once about using dryer sheets so she decided to give these wool balls a go. Today was the first day that we used them. To be honest, she did get some static on a fleece top but nothing to make her not want to use them again and we can't comment about making the laundry dry faster because we didn't check.
I get the feeling that once again, she's trying to trick me into think these are larger tennis balls. Sorry, mom - it didn't work!Happy Columbus Day!
Love ya lots♥

We use those same dryer balls here too, they seem to work good most of the time!

ReplyDeleteNever heard of these. Just the thought of anything wool makes me itch.
Lady gave up dryer sheets years ago and lives with static. She touches all the close to the metal door and that helps. Maybe we should get her some balls. Lee and Phod who are extra thankful to know you today.

PeeEssWoo: Thanks for the kind words!
Your mom needs to read the book by The Laundry Guy! He has such excellent tips. We haven't used dryer sheets in years. Mom takes 3 feet of aluminum foil, makes it into a tight ball and puts it in the dryer with the wet clothes. It works wonders on static, safely too. At our house the ball will last a month or two. Sometimes she adds a second one if there is a lot of laundry in the dryer. Dryer sheets are not good, that we know.
ReplyDeleteWe have some of those wool balls and we throw in a aluminum foil ball and we have not used dryer sheets as long as I can remember. Cinnamon tries to steal our wool balls and bring them upstairs. Molly, they taste terrible! Keep being awesome! Purrs Marv
