We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~~
We had dreary, rainy and humid weather earlier in the week. On one of those days, we decided to take a chance and head out and hope that we didn't get wet. The leaves are peak and falling fast.
Because of the higher temps and humidity, the scent of autumn was beyond fantastic!
The Sycamore tree bark is shiny when it's wet and the camouflage effect really pops.
One morning, as we headed out for business, we discovered a Katydid trying to stay dry on our porch.
How we love autumn♥
Happy Friday, everybuddy!
Love ya lots♥

ReplyDeleteIt is a glorious season - but so short in its beauty... Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
We desperately need some rain, but we only got a few drops this week. It is beautiful outside, but it is about to end with the leaves all falling very fast. Have a fun weekend!
ReplyDeleteNot a "wish you were here" comment. Rather "how I wish I was there ... beautiful!" Have a glorious weekend.

ReplyDeleteLove you lots Cecilia
Katydid...noisy buggers, but a great find. Colorful trees, & the scents of Fall...can't be any better. Happy weekend Mom & Molly
ReplyDeleteWe don't have much autumn colors and they aren't happening yet. To warm I'm guessing. I sure enjoy going with you Miss Molly.
ReplyDeleteHave a woof woof day and weekend. My best to your mom. ♥
Java Bean: "Hmm, who is Katy, and what did she do ... ?"
ReplyDeleteWOW! What gorgeous colors! We have been quite cold this last week and we have had some RAIN! (we have been super dry and have been worried about forest fires). This morning Mom and Cinnamon encountered not one but 3 humongous Praying Mantises on the back sliding door when they came home from their walk. Mom was surprised as we seldom see them here. Thanks for visiting and keep being awesome! Purrs Marv
ReplyDeleteYou have some beautiful fall foliage around you, Molly. That is a cute katydid too.
ReplyDeleteNot sure I've ever seen a Katydid before! Thanks for finding him to show us, Molly.

Those leaves are pretty even on the ground. Have a fabulous weekend sweet Molly!
ReplyDeleteWe love the smell of autumn leaves too! What a great time of year!
ReplyDeleteYou have such a colorful world. Always a fun visit!
ReplyDeleteYou have a beautiful fall season there.
ReplyDeleteWe found a Katydid clinging to the front door last week. Guess he wanted to come inside and be safe from the night visitors who will eat anything.
ReplyDeleteWhat great pictures. We have had a few days where it was mild again and it is very weird at this time of year, especially when we should be having frosts. We have never heard of a Katydid but how pretty. Hugs & Love Susie & Coco xx
