We are joining Rosey this week for Nature Friday~~
We had a good soaking rain yesterday, which we really needed. It rained all day and it's still raining this morning! Hopefully, the leaves on the Red Maple will fall so mom can get them raked up before Thanksgiving.
The Bittersweet has flowers~We spotted big mushrooms growing on this tree~The beaver moon earlier in the week~Happy Friday, everyone!Love ya lots♥Duke

We finished up trimming bushes and getting the leaves up last weekend and this week we have had some snow, so timing was perfect. It still look like fall at your place but soon it will be winter all over. Happy Friday.
ReplyDeleteoh you saw the beaver moon? we missed it..... hugs to you and a fantabulous weekend
ReplyDeleteYes, finally ... at least for those of us who like and enjoy it ... crisp, cool air ... it's here! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteHappy Nature Friday Duke.
ReplyDeleteYour red maple looks splendid and what fine specimens of bracket fungi.
Duke my delightfully and adorable friend.
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the nature up your way. Your red maple is gorgeous.
Ours is still full of leaves...

Happy Friday to you too, Duke. That red maple is so pretty and we love those mushrooms on the tree. We've had about 24 hours of straight rain and are sad that it isn't snow.
ReplyDeleteThose mushrooms that grow on trees are so funny. We get them here as well!
ReplyDeleteWoofs,
Ollie
We have white and wet here - but we saw on MSNBC's weather update 20" in NJ - and The Poconos here in PA have a heavy wet white -
ReplyDeleteLike your area, we welcome the moisture for we need it too -

You do always find cool things to see Dandy Duke!
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful fall pictures, Duke! I love the red maple leaves especially.
ReplyDeleteLulu: "Wow, Duke, that mushroom is like a ladder for smurfs right up the side of the tree! Pretty cool!"
ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "Ayyy, they keep teasing us here that we are going to have rain, but it keeps not raining. I have been looking forward for some mud to play in and have been repeatedly disappointed."
Besutiful day for a walk
ReplyDeleteYour autumn is looking nice Duke! Lee and Phod
ReplyDeleteThose maple leaves sure are the brightest red!!
ReplyDeleteWe have a lot of bittersweet around here, but the garden peeps say its the bad invasive stuff...so *she* pulls it up, before it can grow onto trees and smother them...or pull them down...and yes that has happened in our yard more than once before *she* knew about that kind of naughty vine. It is kind of pretty, though and their nice bright orange red color adds a bit of 'spice' to an otherwise drab scene.
