Mom made Berry Cobbler and I got to TasteTest!
3 cups of berries ( blueberries, raspberries and blackberries), 1\4 cup of sugar, 1 teaspoon lemon or orange peel.
Topping:
3/4 cup of flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 cup milk, 1/8 cup sugar, 1/4 cup shortening, pinch of cinnamon and mace.
Combine the berries, sugar and zest in a bowl. Just before adding the biscuit topping, dot with several pats of butter. Bake 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
Out of the oven~Delicious!
Happy Tuesday!

That looks like a great, tasty dessert for the humans! Mom loved things like that before she changed her diet, now she would just eat the plain berries, no sugar or anything but she likes it that way. Enjoy!
