Mom did laundry yesterday and as she was shaking out her pants, a wool dryer ball hit the floor. I pounced on it immediately! Mom never thought that I would like it as much as I do as it doesn't squeak.
I was afraid to leave my new ball alone for fear mom would take it away from me~But she didn't. She let me keep it as long as I don't chew it or tear it apart and I haven't so far~Happy Wednesday!Love ya lots♥

Good for you finding yourself a new toy. Mom likes the laundry guy and he said to make a ball out of tin foil and put it in the dryer. She has done that for years now and it works great. We are not into balls, so we never try to grab them. Enjoy your dryer ball.

A surprise! A new toy! You never know when a surprise and a new toy will unexpectedly turn up ... got to be quick to act, or as it's said "keep your eye on the ball!"
ReplyDeleteHa! We have some dryer balls too!
ReplyDeleteBTW, we discovered last CSA box that Asparagus was a favorite - Khousin Emmy too - that's why we added some to this most recent one for them - and I got a whole stalk yesterday when Mom put her lunch salad together - along with some carrot -

New toys are a good thing. You're so handsome, Duke.
ReplyDeleteI linked this post to Wordless Wednesday.
Have a woof woof day and rest of the week. My best to your mom. ♥
What a fun surprise to get a new toy that isn't meant to be a toy. You are a lucky boy, Duke.
ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "Ayyy, new toys are fun! Especially when you find them on your own!"
ReplyDeleteChaplin: "Dennis used to have a beluga whale made out of wool! He loved to carry it around, too, even though it didn't squeak!"
Charlee: "But he also chewed it and tore it apart."
Chaplin: "Well, yes, because Dennis."
Well Duke what a fun surprise you had...who knew laundry could be such fun

Duke, your quite handsome.
ReplyDeleteMy #1 finds it very odd, Duke, that I am not at all interested in balls! It takes all kinds, I guess!

ReplyDeleteHi hi hi! Ojo here! You got to keep the Drier Ball! I am never allowed to keep the Drier Ball! You are very lucky!!
ReplyDeleteNutmeg LOVES to rip apart the dryer balls! She hangs out around the dryer when Mom or Alex are taking the clothes out of the dryer and if one drops on the floor - ZOOOOOM - she is in and gone! then she rips it into FLUFF! I, Marvelous, used to love to play with them (the dryer balls not the fluff). But alas, that does not happen anymore....Keep being AWESOME! Your #1 Fan Boy, Marvelous Marv
ReplyDeleteHa, Ha Duke you and Coco are so alike. She always tries to grab my dryer balls when they fall out. However I know that she would tear it apart in the first fifteen minutes!!! I always rush to pick it up before she is able to grab it!!! Have fun with your new ball Duke. Hugs & Love, Susie & Coco xx
