Mom always checks the weather before we walk because she never wants to get caught in the rain. The weatherman said that it was possible but how many times have they said that and it doesn't happen? Saturday, he was right.
We were both soaked through to our skin! Mom dried me off as best she could and put my wicky robe on me while she changed her wet clothing and did the laundry.
My ears are starting to dry~
I'm just a wee bit damp now, mom~
She wanted a picture of me with the beautiful blue hydrangeas! It started to rain right after she snapped this photo and then it poured~

Oooopsie. Furgot the macintosh, galoshes and rainbrella! Shoulda had a bar of soap, been done with the daily bath! ADDED COMMENT FROM THE CAT WHO LIVES HERE: there is nothing "happy" at all about the LAST day of June. Now I have to wait another whole year for "my month" to come back!

ReplyDeleteDuke, we are sure you are the most beautiful, but Lynn and I are furry purrtial to blue flowers so they rank #2 in this. I, as a cat would hate to be wet. It is raining this morn and I will not go out onto the catio. But I am braver, as the thunder has not scared me today.

I say: If I had done my job like they often do theirs....it would have been frowned upon.
