Friday was a very warm and humid day here. There is nothing that brings out the best Autumn scents than damp leaves and humid temps and mom hung around this spot for quite awhile breathing in the glorious smells~
We found the coolest grumpy tree!Saturday was the most beautiful day and the perfect temperature!Mom loved these cute pumpkins sitting on the rock wall~Sunday was a cooler walk than Saturday morning. No - this is not my house but mom stuck me in the photo because of the cute display of pumpkins, gourds and mums~Look who lives next door!I wonder what their names are?!
Mom was so psyched that she found a blue Hydrangea. They will forever remind her of trips to Nantucket.

Dude queer glad that your mommy took some pictures of pumpkins and chrysanthemums blooming and you and the photo too! Us humans enjoy all that pretty stuff you know. And would you look at those goats, now I'm not sure if that's somebody you want to get to know very well or not.
ReplyDeleteWe have never heard of a grumpy tree, but we like it, good find. Cute display you found and lots of pretty flowers still out there it looks like.

We have SUN finally returning!
ReplyDeleteThese temps are AWESOME!
Mom thinks she'll be closing off the ceiling vents as the AC shouldn't need to go on - and she'll probably switch the magic button to OFF -
We pass goats on our trips to see Khousin Emmy - and they'll always bring a smile as Mom recalls how Khyra enjoyed the big walk to see them - and one time she got too close to their fence and got a wee zap -
Thanks for all these nice pictures!!!

Lulu: "That looks like a great walk, Duke, and, wow, you have goat-dogs nearby? They must smell fascinating! Our Dada's cousin brought baby goat-dogs here a few times but sadly it was before I moved in so I didn't get to meet them."
ReplyDeleteChaplin: "Dennis told us about Dada's cousin's baby goat-dogs. He said they were weird, hopping all around the yard. Of course, Dennis thought lots of things were weird ..."
Java Bean: "Ayyy, be careful of that grumpy tree, Duke! It looks like they kind of tree that might swallow a hobbit!"

It looks like the weekend walks were quite scenic.
ReplyDeleteIt is very fall like in your region!
ReplyDeleteDamp leaves on a warm day really is the best autumn smell, no wonder Mom stayed put for a while. A blue hydrangea still in bloom in October is a nice find too, and a good reason to remember Nantucket. Lovely walks, Duke.
