Christmas at Gram's

It's looking like Christmas here at Gram's. There are trees and beautiful decorations everywhere!

 Mom and Gram spent the day shopping yesterday.   These were the views that they saw not far from the store fronts.   Pretty hard to take, huh~~

Our mom did get sand in her shoes and it made her day!

Leaving on an AirePlane

 Our mom is leaving us - tomorrow!   She's heading south to visit Gram and Gramp for a whole week!

 The lists are prepared and dad's pills are loaded so he won't forget to take them.

 The turkey soup has been made - with parsnips ☺

 Dad's order for chicken cutlets has been filled and they're in the freezer waiting for him to thaw them out as needed.

The cheese bread just came out of the bread machine~

 The freezer is stocked with better stuffs than chicken cutlets!

 Mom will be packing her knitting for something to do while Anderson Cooper is on the TV at Gram's~

Her bags are just about packed and she's almost ready to go.
Dad says that we're going to stay busy at Crumpie's and hit Glenwood and Lenny and Joe's for burgers and fish-n-chips.
We're going to miss our mom and our mom is going to miss us.  It will be Molly's first time with mom away.
 We hope you have a wonderful time with Gram and Gramp and please don't forget to bring something special home with you for us, mom!

Happy Birthday To Sunshade

We are once again celebrating at our house.  Our bestest friend, Miss Sunshade is 14 years old today and we couldn't be happier for her ♥

My Seventh Birthday

Today is my birthday and I'm 7 years old!
Molly is hiding because she thinks birthday hats are silly!  You won't think this way once that birthday cake is put in front of you, Molly!

 My birthday "cake" is a thin slice of a gingerbread bagel topped with apples and yogurt and apple cookie bits - the perfect cake for a boy who LOVES his apples ☺

 Gosh, Molly - maybe you should chew your apple instead of trying to swallow it whole! Show a few manners. You are a girl, ya know!

 Birthdays are so much fun!

 I don't need your help, Molly, but thank you for your extremely kind offer!

I am hearing that when a pup turns 7 years old they're considered a Senior.  Who are you calling a Senior?  Not me, that's for sure!

I'm off to have lots of fun for my special day and I know that mom and dad will be giving me plenty of extra birthday hugs!

The Celebration Continues

We heard a knock on our back door and a man was standing outside on our porch holding these. Aren't they beautiful and they're for ME, Mitch!

They're from our friend Chewy!  Is he the absolute bestest or what?!   
What a total surprise and so very sweet and thoughtful ♥

We're Celebrating Early

I got an early birthday pressie!
I've never had a knuckle bone before!   I get the biggest one, right, mom?

 Look how HUGE it is!  It must be the knuckle bone of an elephant!

 Molly is thinking these are pretty darn good!

 They do sorta get the floor a tad bit greasy.  Good thing this isn't the finished floor!  Mr Crumpie would not be happy!

 I can already tell that this is going to be the bestest birthday ever!
