The Candle Mat Give-Away

Our mom has discovered from watching You Tube videos how to make the perfect french knot so she's been going french knot nutty!
The strawberry seeds and the flower centers are french knots.
Look alive, Molly - you're supposed to be modeling the give-away candle mat!

This will be our first time using the randomizer so please leave only one comment so it's fair to everybody.  This give-away is open to everyone. You do not have to live in the USA.  The give-away will start now and end on Wednesday at 5PM EST.
 Ready, set, GO!

We'll be back in a couple of days to announce the winner!  Good luck!

Remember the cupola that dad and mom have been working on at Crumpie's?
Dad and his helpers delivered it to Rhode Island yesterday. That's the barn that it will go on that's in the background.  The raising will be sometime in July.

So until next time............

Love ya lots,
Mitch and Molly

  13. Oh, gosh! That is GAWJUSS! Your mom really is super talented. If I won, I'd give it to my mom because she would never be able to make one of those on her own. She hardly knows how to make an AMERICAN knot in her shoes, much less a french one.

  17. Our Mom is so jealous. She makes absolutely horrible French knots. None of them ever match. Whenever she can she uses beads instead. Please tell her where to go to learn to make nice neat knots so she stops using those bad words.
    Thank you.

  18. Those candlemats are very, very cool. Your mom peep, and dad peep, too, are very, very talented.

I think I need a dog house to go under that cupola INSIDE my house. That would be kinda neat. (I'm not much on outside doghouses.)

  21. The cupola is amazing and we wish we had a barn to have one of our own. Since Tgat is not possible, the next bestest thing would be the Candlemat!!

  22. Your mum's candle mat looks beautiful. She learned to make French knots really good. My mum says it's too pretty for a candle to hide it. I like that cupola.

  25. I remember learning French knots in embroidery club in junior high (I doubt there is such a club anymore). I also used to tune into The Art of Embroidery on our local PBS station (I think the name of the hostess was Erica Wilson). Count me in for the giveaway.

    The cupola is magnificent.

  37. Hi, Mitch and Molly -

Your pawrents are so talented - your Dad with the cupola and your Mom with the candle mats.

There were some french knots in the Christmas tablecloth that Mama finished. She thinks that the french knot is the worst embroidery stitch invented.

All of the candle mats look so pretty it is hard to choose a favorite one.

    Love -

    Hershey and Kaci
