Pukka's Promise

We won Bocci's give-away last week.    The prize was a book called Pukka's Promise.   Mom says this book is going to be full of good info to help us live longer! 
We have finished the first chapter and we are thrilled with it and can't wait to read more!
Thank you so much, Bocci, for choosing our names!  This book is going to be a winner - we just know it!

Mom was raking and picking up sticks outside over the Easter weekend and couldn't help but smile at the beauty of spring around us!



I think this means that the snow is gone for the year. Happy April 1st!

    We will have to find out more about that book with all the excellent recommendations.

    Our poor hyacinths have been trying since early February when we had a warm spell to come to life. Mom is hoping we still get some blooms after all the ups and downs of temps and heavy snows.

    Your book prize sounds great! We hope you all had a Happy Easter! My mom wasn't around all day so she didn't even put a message on Facebook! Our daffy-dills and Croak-us bloomed and faded a couple of months ago, now we have Japanese and Saucer Magnolias blooming and my mom is sneezing like crazy! It's all HER fault...SHE planted them!

    OH that is beautiful Sue!!! I wish I had more of spring signs around here. All I can see is all the destruction going on around us!!!

    Oh, so gorgeous. Are those lovely purple flowers crocus? I have some saffron crocus that are just peeping out of the soil here (autumn/fall).
