Pretty In Pink

My goodest and bestest friend, Putter sent me the most awesome book! It's called Pretty in Pink - why it's good to be a girl!
The author is Bob Elsdale ( did you happen to catch is last name -elsDALE) We have a rainy, dreary day here today and it's just the most perfect day to lay on the floor and read a good book! Mom is helping me when I get stuck on a big word!

This "pink" all started when Oscar sent me my beautiful pink color that I love so much for my birthday in July. Now I can't seem to get enough of "pink"! And everything is coming up pink roses!

Check out this pink toolbox with all of the pink tools! Mom and I use these tools all the time for projects around the house! I love the mirror in her tool box!

This picture is adorable. It says - daily maintenance can be fun. I don't have a pink toothbrush yet! I'm still under the impression that marrow bones and carrots work pretty good! This page is a wake up call for me to be careful how many cookies and how much ice cream I eat! It says - and if things get out of balance.................it's a picture of a piggy on a bathroom scale!

I love this page - to catch up with the girls! Yes, we do like to gossip, don't we girlz!
Putter even wrote me a sweet note! Mom needed to help me read this part!

Thank you so much, Putter! You're the bestest girlfren I ever had! I think I'm going to share my new book with Pricilla the pink pig!

So until next time.....................

Love ya lots,

Maggie

  7. It is raining here too. and raining and raining and raining. And the Servant makes us potty in the rain. We are not HairDales and we do not have luxurious wonderful coats like you do. We are pretty much nekked like the pink pig, only skinnier so no fat to keep us warm like the Servant. We'd like to see HER go potty outside in the rain.
Thanks for the smiles! You have a nice friend to send such a great book.

  47. Maggs!

You are so stinkin' cute reading your girlie book. And you look so snuggly with Priscilla Pig. (Bet *she* loved that book).

My girl especially loves your curly curls coming out on top of your head (and she loves your ears, of course). She loves looking at Airedales from behind for some reason. *I'm* rolling my eyes here!

As always, Goober love to you & your staff photographer,
    Stanley

  48. Oh boy! A new toy! A book? I've never got a book. I like your piggy too :-) My mom bought me a monkey yesterday. I must ask her to take a picture cause I really love it. I grab it and shake it all over! Sorry to hear that Mitch ate that nut when he shouldn't. Mom caught me at charcoal yesterday and she didn't appreciate it and stuck her fingers in my mouth! Nasty old woman... hehehe

  49. Hi Guys,

I'm Rosie the pig on the cover! In fact I'm in all the shots. We don't mention the other pig Petal as she was very much a prima donna and not nice like me :-)

I'm out to pasture on a farm now but when I was staring in this book I lived with three dogs. Two were so scared of me but I did have a little friend called Splash. I arrived at four days old and she mothered me till I was much bigger than her!

You dogs may be clever but you can't do DIY like is girl pigs.

    All the best,
    Rosie
