Randi, lives in California and is our friend that is famous for Randay! What a character she is! She is a very clever and fun-loving girl who can multi-task better than any doggie we know!
Mom made a loaf of bread in her bread machine this morning called Pannettone! The wonderful smells coming from the bread machine were driving us both NUTS! This is the recipe in case anyone would like to make it:
Heat 1 cup of milk and 3 Tablespoons of butter in a small saucepan till warm, then pour them into your bread machine. Add 1 egg, 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt and a 1/4 teaspoon of anise extract. Add 3 cups of flour, 3/4 teaspoon anise seed, 1 Tablespoon of yeast
and last but not least 1 cup of fruitcake mix. Push the start button and in just over 3 hours you have a HUGE loaf of bread! This loaf is over 6 inches tall!
We can't wait for more holiday baking so we can lick the spoon!
So until next time..................
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
