More Pressies

We got a Christmas pressie in the mail from our Puggle friend, Preston yesterday! He sent us TREATS! One bag is Savory Beef and the other one is Roasted Chicken! OMG, we are drooling! We can't wait for mom to open up the package so that we can sample both of them!Thank you so very much, Preston! This was a total surprise and a very thoughtful one!

Our sissy and Jim gave me a purple Wubba for Christmas and they gave Mitch a rope toy! Mitch LOVES rope toys! I just wish that Mitch would learn the meaning of the word - SHARE! I wonder if he ever will?!

Mitch also got this Cuz bowling pin! He's been running around with it in his mouth all day and shoving it in my face! No thank you, I don't want to play, Mitch!I did see my vet yesterday and he took lots of my blood to make sure that I'm a healthy girl for surgery this coming Tuesday! Mom is nervous about it but she's trying to deal with it! I have never had to wear the dreaded lampshade - not even when I was puppy when then stole my female parts - but because I've been scratching at my face mom is pretty convinced that the e-collar is going to happen! We don't want to scratch out our stitches! Plus Mitch loves to come up along side of me and shove stuff at my face trying to get me to play with him! So Tuesday morning at 7AM, mom and dad will take me to the animal hospital and I'll have to spend a few hours there, but not overnight, thank goodness! Dad tells me that Modern Apizza is right across the street from the animal hospital and that I can have a pizza crust as long as the doctor says I can when I get home and settled! So maybe the surgery won't be so bad as long as I can dream about pizza!

So until next time..................

Love ya lots,

Maggie and Mitch

Aw Maggie!!

I am sorry to hear that you are having surgery so soon after Santa came and that you will have to be calm for a while. That's too bad. I'm sure you will be fine, though.

On the plus side is that you will get lots of sympathy and lots of treats and lots of extra attention. So it won't be so bad after all.

Good luck to you on Tuesday, Sweetie. We hope that everything goes well and that you are feeling better real soon.

Love and Koobuss Kisses,

Hi Maggie! It sounds like the doctor is going to take very good care of you. Did you know they make clear e-collars that are easy to see through so you don't knock into things? We're sending good thoughts your way. (That pizza sounds great!)

You sure got great pressies for Christmas. Me's jealous.

Me's don't know where your stitches will be but when me had surgery Moomie put a one piece little kid's outfit on me and that was SO much better than wearing the cone. Good luck Tuesday! My paws will be crossed.

ps I have worn the lampshade in the past, best not go out in public in it though! Or try to eat a giant pizza crust while wearing it, it could be nasty!! ;0)

It looks like you're having a wonderful Christmas with your family.
