The Twins

Guess what? Putter's mom visited us today and we got to meet her cutest ever brothers for the very first time!

Putter wasn't able to make it! She had a swimming date that couldn't be broken! Next time, Putter! We sure did miss you but we had a great time visiting and having lunch with the boys!

Here I am welcoming the boys into dad's workshop! We thought dad's shop would work out best because of all the room out here!

Your boys are just too cute, Putter, and they're so happy. We can tell that you've been working really hard at your nanny skills!

Mitch wasn't sure about the boys at all. We've mentioned before that Mitch is scared of little children - well, we meant walking children. This is Mitch's first time meeting infants in a stroller! He sorta hid behind me just in case!

Mitch needed reassurance more than once from dad and mom. They both told him that babies are harmless and won't hurt you! Geez, Mitch! They're smiling at you! Don't be afraid!

Mitch got brave a couple of times though and one of the times was when one of the twinsies was having his morning bottle! He thought it would be safe to sniff the top of his head! Doesn't he smell good, Mitch! Just like baby powder, right?!

We had a super fun time with Kate and her boys and by the time they were ready to leave Mitch was starting to get a little bit more relaxed around the twins! Thank you so much for sharing your mom and brothers with us, Putter! We sure do appreciate it! We hope to see you one day soon for some serious walkies!

So until next time.............

Love ya lots,

  12. Hi, Maggie
Sure you had great time with Putter's brothers! They are adorable!
    Kisses and hugs

  13. Maggsie & MitchMan!

How COOL that you got to meet Putter's cutie pie baby bruzzers and hang out with her mama!

I LOVE that photo of Mitch sniffing the baby head! My girl is still going "awwwwww!"

    Goober love & smooches,

  14. I bet Mitch is scared of that scarey stroller. They can be super scary, just like real estate signs. Two of my most scary things ever. Well, not now that I;m all grown up, but definitely when I was younger.

  15. That's so nice of Putter's brothers to come visit you. I bet Mitch likes babies now.

    ~ Girl girl

  16. Mitch was very brave to go up to the babies. They may be small, but they can make loud scary noises.
    Comet and BLU

  17. your airdales ay powder-puff has airdales at her house to there friendly :) winston the airdale has an afro but i think they shaved it

  18. Aawww...that's so sweet! Don't worry Mitch, babies are harmless. Although the same can't be said for some running and screaming kids. That, I share the same feelings as you!

  19. Oh wow..Putter's little brothers are so cute! I bet they smelt really tasty too. hehe...Mitch took a while to warm up didn't he?

  20. Putter's baby brother are sooo cute! Are they identical twinnies? Is there any close up pictures of them so that we can see their handsome faces?

Mitch is such a baby. He si afraid of even infants. I wonder why? Maggie, you are such a great big sissy for allowing Mitch boy to use you as shelter against 2 harmless infants.

  21. Good evening Maggie.
Love to the twin gives gentleness and the courage of Mitch.

    from loved ume tyan

  22. Awwww, those baby boys are just adorable! You are sooo lucky to have met them both...

    Love licks,
    Solid Gold Dancer

  23. I think that I would be scared of babies too - I've never met one, and have only seen those alien like creatures on TV! But, we sure do like our cousins who are a little older and much more interactive.

  24. Mitch, those babies are harmless now, but wait a couple of years and they will pull your beard and tail. Better enjoy them, now, while they can't harrass you too much! On the other hand, when they get a little older, you can steal food from their tiny hands. We have never actually seen any tiny babies so I suspect we would act just like you did! We have a 7 year old neighbor girl who visits us and we aren't too sure about her either!

    Poppy & Penny

  25. Oh how adorable the twins are, and you two were so good around them, even tho Mitch was a little timid.

  26. The babies are so cute. Train them to give treats to you.

    Simba xx

  27. The babies are soooo cute! I wonder how I will react. You two are very gentle.

    Amber :)

  28. Awww, human pups are so cute!! I'm glad to see Mitch sniffing them out, it means he's not so scared anymore!

  29. are u dissapointed that peanut didn't turn up?

but is still great to meet those cute babies...

  30. What a fantastic day! I love little people...they smell so good & they laugh when I give them little kisses. Too bad Putter couldn't tag along.

  31. Hey Maggie, how lovely that you got to meet them! I think I would have reacted like Mitch too! Or barked! J x

  32. You guys are so lucky to meet Putter's boys! Mitch, I think their stroller looks really scary, so I can understand how you feel. I'm glad you got brave enough to sniff them!

    Your friend, Lenny

  33. There's nothing better than babies and puppies! You guys are going to be great friends before long.

  34. Babies... what do they taste like?!

  35. Nope--Copper is not a dachsie but me have doubts he is what his Mommy says..Keep guessing!!

  36. Hey maggie and mitch!!

Looks like you had a great time with the babies....or at least you did maggie!!

I wonder why Mitch is afraid of babies, at least hes got the courage to sniff their heads!!

    Lots of love!

    peace out

  37. maggie/mitch,

so good of you and your family to meet putter's brothers. i know many friends through DWB too. that's sooooo good.

    BrandytheGreat and Gang

  39. Awww the twins are adorable!! And good on Mitch for working on his fears so well!

  40. Glad to see I'm not the only doggie forced to get up before dawn! About those human babies... I am afraid of human babies when they are in those stroller things, but then they are OK once they detach.

BTW - Your morning bark fest is SCARY!

  41. Hi M&M, those sure are cute little baby twins. we've never seen that kind before. we're glad that Mitch finally got brave enough to sniff one. it wasn't too scarey, was it Mitch?

  42. OMG Maggie and Mitch! You got to meet MY Putter Girl's baby brothers? You are SO lucky! It is too sad Putter had a swimmie date!

I am glad to see you all got a long great! Putter really is doing a great job!

    Love, Hercules

  43. Wow you guys got to meet the twins, how good is that. Isnt it great the Mitch started to relax about it towards the end.

    Hugs and tail wags
    Noah Willow Tess & Lucy

  44. Once the twins start dropping food, you can be sure Mitch will like the twins a LOT!

  45. How nice of Putter to let you meet her new baby brudders. They are adorable! What fun!!

Mitch, you were not afraid of the babies, right? You were just being a gentleman!

    Love and Koobuss Kisses,

  46. Let me tell ya....those little two-legged kinds are the BEST. My very favorite kind..... Mitch..just give it time and they'll be your favorite too :)

    Peace + Paws,

  47. Our dad told us about the Twins' high-tech Formula One Mach 7 Stroller, and we're gonna pester Putter until she forces Kate into giving us a ride! We could disguise ourselves as little humans--ever see a couple kerry blues in Oshkosh B'Gosh overalls? Not for the weak of heart!

We're told the twins are the cutest little guys in the known Universe. Is that true?

    Persephone & Buster
    (Hey, WE'RE twins, too!)

  48. oh so sorry to be so late in catching up Maggie..........
