Hi everybody! It's me, Autumn!Mom and I went for an April woodsy walkie yesterday!
The Dutchman's Breeches are out.And so is the yellow trout lily. Don't you just love the spotted leaves?I'm standing at the edge of our pond in the nice soft moss. Should I go for a swim?I bet Dauby is hoping that I don't!The blood root is in bloom~
And so is the forsythia. And the weeping cherry tree is having a great year!April is such a beautiful month!
See you all next Wednesday.
Love, Autumn
What a great tour, Autumn! You have so many pretty blooms! Everything is blooming, here, too, but it's killing our mom's sinuses! It doesn't help to have us tracking all the pollen into the house. Hey, we try not to, but it sticks all over our feetsies and our furs!

ReplyDeleteHi Autumn and Sue,
ReplyDeleteI know what you are talking about Sue!!! I have been working hard out in the garden too. I have new little parsley seeds coming up and 7 new tomatoes seeds up:) I have swiff chard up from seeds. Basil seeds up and almost ready for up potting.I got sweet peppers, I got cayenne peppers and jalapeno.
I planted some squash but only one has come up so I am going to have to plant some more of those seeds.
Lots and lots more to do too.
Are you planting any food plants???
XXOO, Fern
Thanks for the tour of all those beautiful bloomers, Autumn! Love the trees and the forsythia is a reminder of Mom's childhood upbringing in CT - THANKS for posting the gorgeous picture! She misses those - and lilacs (which Miss Khyra posted pix of the other day!) - And that pond with swan is so peaceful! Have a great Wednesday!

Yellow trout lillies!! OMD, we have those all over the place (even though we have no trout) and were wondering what they were! Thanks for cleaning up the mystery, but mom still thinks they are weeds since they grow in all the wrong places!

Hi Autumn
ReplyDeleteYour spring looks so heavenly.
Your part of the world seems to be touched by mother nature right now.
And look what is happening,
So much beauty at your house.
We are having storm after storm, and 1 tree is trying to bloom.
When mother natures finishes with your spring- maybe she will come here.
