Guess what? I, Miss Molly, can climb stairs! Mitch was 9 months old before he learned. It only took me 5 months to learn.
I'm comin', mom, wait for me!
Look what I found on second floor. It's one of Mitch's beds. He has 2 of them up here - one is in our guestroom and one is in mom and dad's bedroom. I feel quite at home here! Sorry if I'm messin' it up on you, Mitch.
It's time to go back down? uhoh
It looks kinda scary. I think I'll stay right here, mom.
Well, okay - if you promise to help me.
I'm still kinda nervous about the going down part.
I made it! yippeeeeeeee
The sad part is that Mitch can no longer hide upstairs and get away from me and my bitey toofies. Mom has put the gate up, which means that nobody goes up or down unless she says so.
Why does life have to be so complicated sometimes?!
So until next time...........
Love ya lots,
MollyMuffin
Congratulations!! The second floors holds so many mysteries!! Hope you get up there again real soon!
ReplyDeleteHave fun in the world upstairs. Stairs are fun! Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
MOLLY.... you are Very Advanced in your learning. CONGRATULATIONS on
ReplyDelete"MASTERING the STAIRS"
I used to be able to go DOWN to the Den and get away from ERNIE... butt NOW he just Follows me.

Well that's not fair - just when you discover something brand new - the upstairs - you are restricted. Chuckles - we bet your Mom thinks you can't be trusted alone upstairs :) :) :)
ReplyDeleteOh, so much fun Molly! Poor Mitch. He'll just have to adjust to sharin' ALL his beds, huh? Airechicks are just faster learners, I say!
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Ruby
This was such a cute post! We loved it! Horray for Molly! You did it -- Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteBravo, Miss Molly! You are a brilliant little girl and we are amazed at your bravery! Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeletePeeS: Let Mitch have some alone time every once in a while..he deserves it!!!
Your furiends,
Winston, Chloe and Cecil
Girls just learn stuff faster than da boys!! You look so beautiful in the last photo...happy exploring!!
ReplyDeleteGood job. Mitch is probably looking for a new hiding place. Mitch I put my head under the bed then the little devil can't bite my ears.
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
You are so clever Molly! Now you have a whole new world to explore – though with the gate system it sounds like Mitch will still be able to have some timeout away from you if he needs to.
ReplyDeleteWoofs,
Riley
Congrats, Miss Molly - we bet there are all sorts of new and good smells up there. We have gates that keep us from the stairs here too, but we think it would be so much fun to do zoomies up and down the stairs. The only problem is that we get going so fast on the way down that we barely make the hairpin turn at the bottom and go sliding across the hardwood floors into the table with Mom's pretty lamp on it - NOT GOOD.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
Way to go, Molly! You're one brave little pup!!! Our stairs are carpeted, so they aren't as scary as yours. In fact, they're mighty fun to zoom up and down!
ReplyDeletePlay bows,
Zim
Well done, Molly!!! We don't have stairs, so we're impressed that you can get up and DOWN those big steps.'
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Molly, you are such a big girl now. I love the picture of you on Mitch's bed. You look like you are up to no good.
ReplyDeleteCindy
Molly...dat is a lot of steps. You might as well be climbing Mt. Everest!
ReplyDeletePeeS...SHHHHH...(girls always learn things faster then boys) :o)
Miss Molly you are so clever!!!!!! It took Eva more than a year to learn that! What a scaredy cat... And in the beginning, she couldn't even come down the stairs..and it took her months to learn that as well!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh Molly
ReplyDeleteYou are so brave to go upstairs, and then down the stairs!
Good job!

Miss Molly, going up and down stairs, that is so cool. I did upstairs first, but it took me a long time to do down.
ReplyDeleteU are brave.
ReplyDeleteWell look at you go!!! I am pretty sure I didn't 't figure it out nearly as quick!!
ReplyDeleteWay to go, Molly! Mitch's beds look super comfy.:)
ReplyDeleteLove,
Teddy Bear & Sierra
Molly, you have passed one of life's 'rites of passage'. Now you'll be able to go to the upstairs passage in the house, lol.
ReplyDeleteGood job, Molly!
ReplyDeleteGood job, Molly! It means you really are growing up fast!
ReplyDeleteSam
mums have so many rules! gates? treats? maybe the mums should apply the rules to them!! your buddy Dave
ReplyDeleteGood girl Molly!! YIPPEEEEE! I'm with you about that going back down stuff. yikes.
ReplyDeleteYou're a quick learner, I bet you studied Mitch, as he climbed them!
ReplyDeleteWell done Molly. You are a such a bright little button. Next trick is to learn how to open the stair gate. If you want any tips let me know. I run master classes on the subject.
ReplyDeleteMolly.
Molly Muffin, you're adorable climbing up and down the stairs-congrats!
ReplyDeleteWay to go, Miss Molly! You are an amazing girl. Stairs are scary, aren't they? Some dogs don't like wood stairs even when they're grown-ups... showing just how special you are!
ReplyDeleteGreat job, Molly! We have a gate at the bottom of the stairs too. My sister needs some peace and quiet sometimes too!
ReplyDeleteWyatt
Those steps look like they could be slick without carpet. You be careful Molly.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a friend

Hi, Molly -
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the blogging community! Mama has been so bad with our blog lately so we have had to whip her into shape. Mama read about your stair adventures and she got a good chuckle. I (Hershey) am six years old and I don't climb the stairs well at all!
We are so sorry that Maggie is in heaven now. Mama can only hope that her "angel dogs" have met Maggie and have made her feel welcome!
Love -
Hershey and Kaci
P.S. Hi, Mitch!
Well done Molly, that's very fast at 5 months. I have a baby who's 14 months already but he still refuses to stand! Care to give him a lesson? :P
