Together Forever

Our longtime blogging friends, Lele and Tris, have gone to Rainbow Bridge.  Lela crossed in early December and Tris crossed this past Wednesday.  The girls were 13 years old and littermate sissies.

Lele and Tris were the AireChicks.   We blogged with them way back in 2007 - we were new bloggers and they were too.
The girls gave Maggie a cow udder toy for her 9th birthday.
We still have that same cow udder tug toy today!  We've taken good care of it, girls~
The AireChicks also had an ice cream cone contest in July 2007.  This was the entry for Maggie and Mitch~
We had so much fun blogging with Lele and Tris while they were blogging.  Like so many others, they left for facebook so we kept up with them there. 
 
We hope that you girls and angel Maggie are enjoying an ice cone together at the Bridge.
We will never forget you.  You both hold very special places in our hearts and you always will

    We remember the Airechicks and are sorry they have left us for the Bridge. But it's a consolation to think of the girls together with Miss Maggie again!

    I am so sorry to hear about your friends... there are so many doggies of ours across the bridge now...they must be having a huge celebration.     So sorry for the loss of your dear friends. And to lose two so close together must have been very hard on the family. Soft woos and gentle hugs from all of us.

    Mom just got us three new cow udders. We are sad to say that Lightning Jaws of Steel has destroyed one of them and partially attacked another. Is there no toy he can't eat his way through?

    What a great tribute to the Aire-chicks! Our mom remembers them from blogging a long time ago, too! Although we hate to have them leave us, we are glad to know that the girls are together again! I'll bet they, Maggie, Penny and Poppy are all eating ice cream!

    We tried to comment here before, but blogger being difficult...we loved the Airechicks too and that ice cream eating contest was the first one we ever saw (but we're too shy to enter) the first month we started blogging.

    We are glad the girls are united again and eating out of the hooooooge ice cream bucket that Angel Maggie dispenses from up there, but we know how large the hole their absence must have made in their hooman's heart...

    Thank you for posting this....we're sorry we haven't been around much...Mumsie has been checking blogs on the Ipad and all of a sudden it won't let us comment...we're tryin' to fix it!
