The Sunshade Mat

We're sure you all remember seeing this box of Sunshade's fur that Miss Elaine and Sunshade hand delivered to us back in May.

The Sunshade mat was finished and it was mailed on June 28th and I didn't arrive in Canada until July 25th!  We were so worried that it had gotten lost!
But it did arrive and we are so happy about that!

This is the Sunshade candle mat~~
Yup, that's really her fur needle felted into the mat!
We were at Glenwood last Tuesday.  It's the first time that we've gone since Miss Elaine and Sunshade were with us.
We ate a sweet potato fry and thought of you, Sunshade!
We sure wish that you and your sweet mum could have been with us!

Today is July 28th.  It's been 1  1/2 years since our sweet Maggie went to Rainbow Bridge.  It doesn't seem possible that it's been that long.  We miss you, Maggie ♥

So until next time..............

Love ya lots♥

  6. The mat is beautiful. Time does go by fast sometimes. We know Maggie is free and always in your hearts. Thank you for stopping by. We are missing Sasha and we sometimes feel she is right next to us. Btw that tennis ball collar is very nice! Mom made us collars. We think it is time she make us new ones....

BUTT other times their thingys arrive in a WEEK.

  12. How neat is that? Mom says we have enough hair to start a whole factory. She always incorporates some into her knitting and embroidery whether she means to or not.

  14. That Mate you mailed to Sunshade must have gotten lost and then found for it to take that long. I mailed a video tape to my Mom once and it took over a month to get to Daytona from here and it had been to hell and back!!! Mom took pictures of it and sent me!!

  16. That candle mat is so cool! Maybe the sniffer dogs at customs were holding it up because they thought there was a real dog in that box!
