OutGrowing Everything

Twozie and the ducklings outgrew their outdoor dog crate.  Look what dad built them.    Dad and mom placed the fencing around a small wisteria so the babies could have shade.   There is wire and plywood on the top to keep out the evil hawks that want to steal our cute Twozie and the duckies.
They get visitors all day long ☺
 They love eating the grass.

And playing and splashing in the water.

And at night, dad rounds up Twozie and the ducklings and puts them in the swan cottage to sleep. They're safe and secure in there and they have lots of room to move about.
They had a short visit from Auntie Agnes!
Twozie is growing by the day~

The Iris and Coral Bells and Lupines are blooming~

And so are mom's favorites - the Oriental Poppies ☺

And the Iceland Poppies~
We're still supervising the timber framing work but there is a pesky baby chipper that keeps racing by us and taunting us.   We're on his case and we intend to pounce on the little tease!
So until next time.............

Love ya lots♥

  1. Morning Mitch & Molly your baby ducks and Twozie are really getting big now, so cute. Love the pictures of the flowers, my Mom will be really jealous of the lupins. She always plants them and the horrible slugs and snails eat them! By the way what's a chipper? Woof Treacle & Mom xx

  10. How happy those babies must be.And safe! Here when our neighborhood Muscovy's have a "litter," they start out with a dozen or more and wind up with two. (Me? I never bother them.)

  14. I'll bet the rest of the birds are curious about them. They sure are growing fast. Can't wait to see the ducks all grown with those pom poms on their heads.
