Twozie and the ducklings have a new safe play yard for themselves.
Dad has given them their own swimming pool that they can get in and out of safely.
Sorry it's so yucky looking. We've had rain and they love poking at the ground and making mud holes.
Do Twozie's feets look abnormally large to you?
She has the longest legs!
The ducklings are losing their down and their feathers are coming in .
We have discovered that the pom-pom on the tops of some of the duckie's heads is not a good thing. The crest covers a deformity in their skulls. You can read about it here.
We know it's not a good thing but we still love their crests. They're happy little ducklings and we hope they live for a good long time~~
The wisteria is in bloom. The vine is near the swan cottage and Twozie's new play yard. It smells divine!
Penny and Margaret and their bodyguard, BubbleButt~
She is the loudest, crankiest pain in the hiney but she sure does worship the water that Margaret swims in. She's a very good bodyguard.
Happy Friday the 13th, everybody! We hope today is a lucky day for all of you!
Love ya lots♥

Boy, Twozie and the ducklings have sure grown up fast.
ReplyDeleteWe love those tufty heads, too.
ReplyDeleteTwozie does have BIG feet. Going to be a speedy swimmer, we bet.
XXXOOO Bella Roxy & Dui
we have seen brown ducks at the park with small crests too - not the big pompom type Mr Tuffy has but definitely a small tuff. Twozie is going to be beautiful...can't wait until her feathers start to come in.
ReplyDeleteTwozie and friends are sure growing up fast. Your pop is really nice to make them a nice safe place to grow.
ReplyDeleteGosh they have grown and we think they look mighty happy in their outdoor pen. We know they have the bestest home ever. Happy Friday the 13th to you too and we hope is it a lucky one for you.

Twozie and the ducklings are so cute!! Your Dad does lots to make sure that they are very happy! Your yard looks awesome! xo Chloe and LadyBug
ReplyDeleteTwozie is a swan, right? Seeing her with her duckie friends reminds me of the story of the ugly duckling! - my husband and I were wondering what the correct name for a baby swan is? By the way, I so enjoy reading your blog!
ReplyDeleteYour birds were so young when you got them they don't know any different--just treated right!!! Happy Birds!!!
ReplyDeleteThey sure can make a mess of the yard with their digging for bugs. It must get pretty noisy around your pond.
ReplyDeleteOh, what could be better than your own play yard AND mud?!?! That is just wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHmm... if Twosie was a puppy, I'd know she was going to be a very LARGE puppy!
Cammie!
